Today, Mrs Davis allowed the Newsquest group to bring a friend to perform a simulated interview. We were assigned to create thought provoking questions for our homeroom teacher. My partner's name is Jordan. We plan to include a disclaimer with our interview.
Dane and Jordan's Interview with Mrs Henning
Dane and Jordan: If you were in General Tommy Frank's shoes right now what wuold you do?"
Ms. Henning: I would send out more troops and fight for my country.
Dane and Jordan: In all the years you've been teaching have your students ever been more alert about the news?
Ms. Henning: No, the war in Iraq has really gotten my students alert.
Dane and Jordan: If you could do something to change the world in this time of war what would it be?
Ms. Henning: I would let the children write to the soldiers.
Dane and Jordan: Are you satisfied with your yearly salary?
Ms Henning: Yes, it provides us with enough money for food and for a home.
Dane and Jordan: Do you enjoy your teaching career? What do you like and dislike about it?
Ms. Henning: I really enjoy teaching and I like having my mother right across the hall.
Dane and Jordan: If you were principal of the school for one day what would you change?
Ms.Henning: I would allow more time for the children to have recess.
Dane and Jordan: What inspired you to become a teacher? Why did you choose J.H.House?
Ms Henning: I found that I enjoyed working with children and I heard that J.H.House was a very nice school.
Dane and Jordan: What is the saddest thing you have ever encountered during a school year?
Ms.Henning: I believe seeing kids fail is very sad.
Dane and Jordan: What in your opinion was the most exciting event of the school year?
Ms. Henning: Probably the bowling party at the end of the year.
Dane and Jordan: Do you believe children can change the world? How?
Ms. Henning: I believe they could change the world by comforting our soldiers, becoming imformed citizens, and doing what they do best.
Unfortunatly, Jordan got sick in the middle of this class so my friend Zakkiyya took his place.
