Everyone thinks the worst may be over once you survive the holiday shopping rush. I think it's when you go home and on the box it says "Assembly Required." The K'Nex Rippin' Rockin' Roller Coaster is one of the year's hottest toys. I think it's really cool, but the reporters of 20/20 don't. One of them got a Rippin' Rockin' Roller Coaster for their child and when they opened the box... WHOOSH!!! Over a thousand pieces fall out of it. After 40 minutes, the parents give up after completing 2 pages of the 80 page manual. Also, there was the "T-Wrecks" Hot Wheels toy that took an engineer one hour to put together. Don't you think that is a little extreme?
I agree -- it IS extreme! I myself do not have problems with putting things together because, after all, I am SuperThinker. I have fabulously powerful thinking abilities. But I know many people who really SUFFER trying to figure out how to put things together. I think manuals should have step by step pictures so people could SEE what they have to do. That would really be good thinking!

Yes. Many people (including me) have TONS of trouble trying to put together things. Also yes, I would LOVE for people to get step by step manuals with words because one time I got a manual with only pictures. BOY was it hard to put it together. I would think the producers would care if there were or weren't words in the manuals but, I don't have any power over anything so, oh well.
