Iraq Showdown

What if the "dirty dog " was telling the truth the whole time? We invade Iraq and don't find any weapons of mass destruction or any Biological weapons. Who's the terrorist now ????In case you don't know Saddam with a long second a means "dirty dog" in Iraqian.

President Bush insists that Saddam has weapons of mass destruction and refuses to get rid of them.  Saddam has said he's already gotten rid of them.

Next step War with Iraq.  The U.S. invades Iraq after extensive bombing raids.  And after a massive ground assault.  President Bush realizes that Saddam is not playing a "shell game" as President Bush.  And is not just hiding weapons of mass destruction.  He just doesn't have them!

Newsleads

We are doing lead-ins including who? what? when? where?, and sometimes why? Some may not be perfect but it's our first try. .....

FREE GAS !!! A war with Iraq in 2003 with America as the victor gas could become very cheap.

Cold war has turned hot. North Korea has nuclear weapons that have range to reach the U.S. With the thought of  war in 2003 or 2004 this could be a major threat.

The Big Bang in F.A. The United States tested the largest non-nuclear bomb ever created at Egland Air Force Base in Florida. It was so powerful it cracked people's roof 20 miles away.

U.S. Economy

Have you studied the Great Depression? Could you imagine living in such bad conditions that you line up for bread? And that could be your only meal of the day? With the threat of war and the U.S. Economy already very bad this could be your life. Hopefully the U.S.will not go to war and this will not be a major threat . If this were to happen, what would you do? I would run around in a crazy panic. Wouldn't  you ? Well this could pose as a major problem. What would you do to live through this.

Major Al- Qaida Leader Arrested

Do you recall the group of  people who were in carge of  9-11? Well that would be the Al-Qaida. Their "King " ia Osama-bin- laden. He is the bad guy of all bad guys. One of his top leaders was arrested on Monday March 3. This could be a major bonus for the war on terrorism. Do you beleive this will help the War on Terrorism?

War Ya or Na

How would you like to be peacfully sleeping soon to be awakened by sirens alerting you of a nuclear attack soon to happen? This could be an effect of war. War with Iraq has beensomething the U.S. has been desperately trying to decide whether we need to got o war or not. One reason we should go to war is we are sure Iraq has weapons of mass destruction. When there are ups there are downs. So when there are pros there are cons. One reason we shouldn't go to war is that we are not in any immediate danger . War is something very hard to decide to got or not. Hopefully president Bush will make up his mind before it's to late.

My Exciting Experience

I had a very exciting experience recently. On the day of February 26, 2003  I was typing Venzuela Shutdown. After school that day I went home and realized I had to do the rest of my homework after tutoring and church and I had nothing prepared for the other story . So immedietly after I got home at 7:30 I began starting up the internet so I could get on the internet to post my story. The first thing I realized when I opened up my blog was I had a response  from the story I had typed that day. WOW  I exclaimed !!! Once again thanks Julie for posting it really makes the bloggers feel very special . Thanks again Julie :)

5th Harry Potter Book

Are you a Harry Potter fan? Well , it's time to get out a red marker and circle this date on your calendar : June 21. This is when the 5th Harry potter book (By:J.K.Rowling) comes out on store shelves. Curious of the tile? The 5th book will be entitled Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. When this book did not come out last summer thousands were very dissapointed. This summer readers better set aside a good bit of time to read this 768 page volume. WOW that sure is a lot of reading.  Well if you plan to read it I hope you enjoy it.

Venezuela Shut Down

Store shelves are bare resteraunts and malls are closed and so is every other business in Venezuela. In the past two months Venezuaela has come to a stndstill. For those who don't know Venezuela is a large country in northen South America. This has caused a major problem for the economy. On December 2 , the country's labor and business leaders called for a general strike. They went on strike because they didn't like the three year old government of President Hugo Chavez . They also say that Chavez'sdecisions have hurt the country's economy. They want him out of office immedietly. The sutdown has cost Venezuela some  $4 billion dollars. That's a lot of money. Caracas the capital is one of Venezuela's main ports .You maybe wondering what product  they ship. Venezuela's main product is oil. If they can't get it out then they are in a lot of financal problems.
