Hi Lucy,
Did you know that Atlanta is currently undergoing a huge revitilization. All over the city, foundations and other civic organizations are joining together to provide affordable housing as well as new townhomes and condominums all over the city. Downtown, unfortunately, has just lost Macy's department store, but, there are new apartments being built and new shops are sure to follow. Atlanta also has a corp of people known as ambassadors that wear uniforms and assist people when they need help. These ambassadors also work with the police. I am sure there will always be crime, but with the help of these organizations, our mayor, Shirley Franklin, and the police department, Atlanta will become a safer place. What do you think?
Keep writing,
Julie
