For some reason I don't think that we've heard the last of the whirligigs in this book. I'm not quite sure as to why but I believe that they had a major impact on Summer. Perhaps it was another something new in her life that helped her complete that transition. One door closed and the next one opened with whirligis behind it.

I think this book had a lot of information on whirligigs, and I thought of doing an assignment for my Massachusetts class, maybe a food, love, nature or death whirligig.
