Allen Lichtenstein of Nevada is strongly against schools dress codes. I agree with him too.
NO! The Supreme Court has said that students do not leave their constitutional rights at the schoolhouse door. Yet some school's dress codes restrict student's freedom of expression. Supporters claim that uniforms and dress codes improve discipline and increase student achievement. But there is little evidence to support this. Codes stifle individuality. While no one supports allowing clothing that is dangerous, disruptive or too revealing, many codes go too far. America has always prided itself on the individuals right to self-expression. That respect should extend to student clothing.
If someone came up to you and asked you for a writing tip, could you do it? Well, guess what, it has happened to me. I am going to list a few tips below...
#1. Always choose a topic that interests you.
Example: Remember when I wrote about Brian Nichols? That was a topic that really interested me.
#2. When you proof-read your writing, add in extra and more exciting things.
Example: " Go pick up your mess." Does that sound very exciting? Bump it up and say," Run along and pick up your HUGE diaster." " You will have 100 seconds. 1,2, skip a few,99,100! Now mother is going to be fourious!" (make it fun)
#3. Read your story over and over again until you KNOW it is the right one.
Example: Make sure your writing is the best it can be!!!
Good-day and welcome to this special edition of the Write Webblogger (Me)
In Fulton County, Georgia a murderer named Brian Nichols was captured. Authorities took him to court. There he stole a police officers gun, shot three people, and took off running. The three people that he shot were the judge at the time( Judge Barns), a police officer, and the court room reporter.
Later he shot a Federal Agent. Police found that body soon after the shooting. Right when the investigators thought that they had lost hope, a hostage of Nichol's called and ratted on him. The SWAT team arrived and he came out waving a white t-shirt.
He was arrested and charged for sexual assualt, and for murder. No one knows exactly how log he will be in jail.

I came into the house and inside, I saw my best friends. They said that they want to go camping over at Ashley's house. So, I backed my bags, and we were off!
It was a cold, gruesome night. Maria and Ashleycrowding around the campfire, squealing songs and eating oreos and peanut butter.
Soon they got tired, climbed into their firefighters, and eventually fell asleep. Suddenly, they were both wide awake. There was a loud shuffling sound outside the tent. Ashley grabbed Maria's neck and held on for dear life. Maria started chanting, "Lions and police officers and snake masters, oh my!" over and over again.
Then into their tent fell their friend Kaylyn. Kaylyn had been thirsty and had gone into the house for some orange juice. Now the orange juice was on the floor of their tent. But they all had a good laugh and went back to sleep.
It turned out to be a very heavenly camping trip. And maybe next time they'll even leave Ashley's backyard.
If you like to be able to write a story without knowing what your story is going to be, Wack Web Tales is the place for you. My group and I had a great experience with it, and you should too.
Have you ever been in a class called Webblogs? I am, and it is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. In weblogging class, you get to express yourself. You get to have fun with your writing.
I enjoy writing, and I think other people will too. Even though it is a lot of work, it is A LOT of fun. Many people think that elementary students aren't capable of writing such powerful and such wonderful writing. When I think about it, it makes me mad because our elementary students are taught well and are VERY smart. As a matter of fact, here's a story on how someone can become a better writer...
In third, fourth, and fifth grade, we would, and are always watching CNN Student News. This helps me and others be more aware of what is going on around us. One example is when people discovered that stores had food that was expired. It made me want to check the labels on food items.
I put in this small "story" because one day I can write about it and make it more interesting. I hope that middle school teachers will let students blog.
Good morning and welcome to this special edition of The Right Weblogger(Me)
The Religious Education Debate:
Many student at one school in Staunton, Virginia are going to a different school in the middle of the day to take a religion class. About 10 years ago, the Supreme Court announced that this could be allowed, because the classes weren't held on school property. It would not have been allowed if the class was held on school property. This is because it would have been a violation of the church and state ruling.
Some student's parents are against this class. They feel that since almost all of the other children are out of the class, the teachers aren't giving much instruction. When the children who are taking the class come back, they are telling other students things. Things like " your a bad person because you don't take my special class". I feel that it is not these kids fault that they aren't going to the class. It's not the parents "fault" either.
Most of the parents feel that they shouldn't have this class in the middle of the day, that's why they have church. I also feel the same way.
