These blogs were moved from Manila blogs to TypePad blogs. The author shows up on each post as Anne Davis as a result of the transfer. The original posts were made by students and the instructors Lynne Jordan & Anne Davis. The initials on the post title signify who did the actual blogging of the post.

I think everyone thinks that the ending was a little...off. It would of been so much better if Jonas found the community. Of course if it was like that the book wouldn't be as exciting and well suprising. Suprises are for the best!

i just love the train of thought that lois lowry was in when she wrote this book.....but one part to me that pulled me in even more was when jonas got his assignment....in a way i was happy for him and in another i was sad cause he had to be isolated by himself and i dont think he was ready for that. OVERALL THE BOOK GETS A 9!
