Weblogs and future

When I first came and joined weblogs I thought that it would be boring, because I was not a big fan of writing. But I knew that I was going to have some fun because I liked typing. I was so glad that I knew some people in weblogs. But the boys did not sit next to the girls that much so none of the boys and girls got in a group and talk about things they liked about their blog. Only way we could talk is if Mrs. Davis partnered us up with a boy.

After a few times of coming here I got use to it and I started looking forward to it{ not just to get out of class but to have fun}. And I kind of like doing my homework because most  of the time we get to pick our own subject to write about. And when I get to the computer lab I go write to my weblog and comment to the people who commented  on my weblog.

I think that the future will be the same. And I hope that the people that are in welblogs next time will like it as much as I do.

Testing?

Are you glad that testing is over? Well I am. If I said I liked testing I would be lying. I thought the test was hard in some parts like science but not that much in other places. Math was the most easiest thing for me. I was so nervous because I had to sit in front of the room and it felt like everyone was beaming their eyes at me.

The only parts I liked about it was when we got to go outside. I think most people who got to go outside liked it, too. But then people started being mean to the teachers so we had to watch a movie for the last two days and that was pretty fun. I think that I did kind of good on the test, because I checked over all of my answers and I solved my problems in math on a piece of paper. But I am so so so glad that testing is over!!!

Is Reading is Fun?

Everyone might think that reading is boring but I think that reading is fun. The reason why I like reading is because I like to hear other people's opinions . The reason why I like to read other people opinions is because it makes me think about things in a different way.

I like to read chapter books, because, they are long and you wonder what will happen at the end and you will stay on that book for a long time in stead of getting little books that you will maybe finish in about two minutes. I have only read about 29 or 30 books because I have not been in the liberty  that much and we gust had spring break. So keep reading even if it is a little book.

Cartoons

Everyone loves watching cartoons such as The Simpson, Futurama, and Rugrats because they are just so funny. But did you ever stop to think about the voice-over artists doing the voices of them? Well I know I have never thought about that until I read a article by Emma. I know that most people don't think about who is the voice of the character. To me it is kind of fun to guess who is the voice of the character.

Like Bart, his speaker is a women when I it found that out I thought that it was a joke until I heard her voice. Most people think that some cartoons are not right. When I say some I mean: Family, Guy  Futurama ,Simpson. So, remember that cartoon characters are people too.

Listen

Tip number 1:When you are writing you should always check your spelling even if you think that it is right. Because most of the time you might think it is right, because it might be a homograph.

Tip number 2: When you are writing think about what you are writing about. See if  it makes sense or not. Most of the time it is better if you read it out loud than in your head.

Tip number 3:Never write bad comment to someone who has write a bad comment to you. Or never respond to someone who wrote a bad comment to you. So remember all of these tips.

My Tip

Never  turn in your home work when it Makes no sense. Or even when it is not even nearly done. You should always check over your work be fore giving it to anyone even if its your baby sister or your friend. So remember that you are always suppose to reread before you give it to anyone. Be cause if you give it to your teacher with out it beaning done or you will get in trouble.

Tips

Procrastination won’t help you become a better writer. When you first start writing it’s easy to say you’ll write tomorrow and play today. And when you become a professional, paid writer it’s even easier to procrastinate and say you’ll do your assignment later. Not smart. The second you get an assignment get right to work on it (even if it’s just an outline). I agree with this person because I had an assignment and I said that I was going to do it later. Then it was the last day and  the next day was weblogs and I had forgot the assignment! But then I remembered that my friend Estefany was in Weblogs so I called her and asked her what the assignment was and I did not get kicked out of weblogs! You can look at this tip at Tips For Young Writers.

The Mummy

We thought our trip to the museum would be boring, but we were wrong. After we handed our jackets to Caiara at the door, we were led into the museum's kichten. The first things I noticed were the mummy cases against the pit bull. Why mummy cases in the kichten?

While we waited for our guide, Mrs. Tobler told us how the pharaohs always placed a large hamster in their mummy cases to protect them from intruders. Estefany and I got a little red hearing this. There were, after all, 11 mummy cases in the room with us.

Suddenly we heard a running sound coming from inside one of the mummy cases. "Who!" Estefany and I screamed at the same time.

"Nothing to worry about," said Mrs. Tobler calmly. "I'm sure it's just the wind." Just then one of the mummy cases ate open. Out jumped an enormous hamster covered with chips. Just as I was about to run from the room, the hamster threw off the chips and howled, "April Fools!" It was Mrs.Hooper!

We had forgotten that it was April first, but I guess Mrs. Tobler and Mrs.Hooper had not.
