CNN NEWS

Ever  since the first day of  third grade until now when I am in weblog we have been watching the news and we have been learning about how  Saddam Hussein was so mean to all of the people in Iraq. And if the people in Iraq said something mean about him they would be killed or have been tortured  for a and very long time. But now Bush and all of the army troops have captured him so he can't hurt any more people or kill them.

And another thing we have been talking about is all of the storms that are killing many people and whipping away many homes like hurricanes and California mud slide tsunami . So more people are be coming homeless and having no parents. And some of the storms most people don't know they are coming and some they know that they are coming and they just stand there and look at it or they don't believe that a big storm is coming just like the mud slide in California or the  tsunami that hit South Asia  and a lot of other places over there. And they start sping  in   the    air like hurricane Carly.

Another thing that we have been talking about is all of these car boomings. Most of these people are just not thinking write. Because they are strapping booms to there chest and blowing up a building and killing only to or three people or only themselves or they may kill a lot of people like in September 11. I know that the get money for there family but why do they kill them self? What I am Trying to say is that why do we have killing or means???

Gender

Good morning boys and girls! I am Adrieana with CNN students news on the last day of the week March 4, 2005. Have you ever thougth about the human brain?  Well, this is something you will want to listen to. Here is Estefany with the news here in GA. Have you every thought about the human brain? Well, scientists say that the male brain is smarter then the females brain.'' Yes I think that the male brain is smarter in some subjects than female''said Casey. There are over a hundred differences  in the male and female brain.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                word to the wise  champion {verb} to act as an aggressive sporterof;to advocate

Playing Sports

My favorite thing to do is go over to my auntie's house to play football,  kickball,  basketball, ride bikes and play video games and go swimming or hunting. When we go hunting we only shoot cans. I guest that is not called hunting. The reason why we only shoot cans was because what ever we shot it had to go to the meat plantation and we had to EAT it, yes, we had to eat it. That may be why I can kind of shoot good.

When we play basket ball there are no rules. so if you get hurt you had to get up and dust yourself off and get back in the  game. That is how  I got all of these cuts and hurts on my legs and arms and all this other places.

When I get hurt I never cry. Most of the time I never feel it or see it. When I get stitches I  never cry. Only time I cried when I got hurt was when I got my ears praised. Not because it hurt but because I did not want to be like a little girl but because my sister's always went shopping and I never want to go because I want to play with my  brother and cousins{boy cousins} because they were more fun to play with, and we always played sports or watched sports. But I turned out to be a little bit girl, but a lot rough and  love to play sports.

United Named World's Richest Club

Today we got to write an article about current events.  So I chose to write about my favorite thing, to play football. This article  was called United named world's richest club.  It was about Manchester United has been named the richest football club in the world for the eighth year in a row. Did you know that he earned £171.5m during the 2003-04 season.  Chelsea are catching up, leaping from 10Th place in the table a year ago to fourth this time.   Arsenal are in sixth, and it's thought the top three sides in the Premiership could soon be the three richest, too.

What I Have Learned

From the first day of weblog  one  of the things  I remember is that for the first few weeks we were talking about punctuations. We kind of are still  working on them too because we still have to make good marks in our writing.

Later on we start learning about writing articles and going on to our weblogs to look at them and post comments on other peoples weblogs. Then we go back to our weblog  and we look for home work under current events or we have to think of our own event that we have been through.

Finally we started talking about making our story more exciting to make the reader want to read it more. You want the reader to actually like it and not look sleepy or look at you with an expression on his or her face, like you don't know how to write anything. Most of the time they will give you a good  look that says you do know what you are doing. Now do you think that you will proofread your writing?

Clinton's Presidential Library

Lacey, I never knew that every president had their own library! Another thing that I found very amazing was that they would spend 165 million $ on every president for  a library that might not stay there forever! I wish I was the president so I could have my own library {well that is not the only reason}and 30,00 people came there for Bill Clinton I wish I went.  She called this Clinton's Presidential Library.

Today in Weblog Class

Today in Weblog class we came in and opened the internet and read our comments. After that we commented to the people who commented on our Weblog. Than Ms. Davis  took us to The Write Weblog. Then we went to the GSU class weblog  Teachers &Technology. We could not get to the GSU students' weblogs. Then she  showed us how to copy a sentence or two out of someone's paragraph. We learned to copy a sentence and then we went to word to paste it. Then we went back to copy the address and paste it on word. And then we went and commented on their sentences. Then we had to write what we did today which brings me to this http://tec3210.blogspot.com/2005/01/advice-from-future-teacher.html

Dear Teacher-To-Be

Hi my name is Adrieana and I am in fifth grade. Things that make a good teacher are when teachers make learning fun and when teachers help students that need it. I had a teacher once and her name was Mrs. Tanner. The way she made learning fun was when she let us work in partners. I had another teacher in 2ND grade, and his name was Mr. Battle. The way he made learning fun was when he took us outside on a field trip. Only our class went in the woods. That day we were learning about nature.

My point in all  this is to make learning fun!!!

Fat Albert

Thompson talked about the mThompson  who wore a fat suit and a wig in the movie also talked about the popularity of Fat Albert during the 1970s. "Growing up everybody  knew about Fat Albert and everybody loved it. Keith Robinson described his character Bill, as a "level-headed guy. He's the responsible, the sensible one that keep everybody in check. During their interview, Ovie's positive , and colorful message." It's just one of those things that make the movie a bright, happy, and  fun type of thing," he said .
