A New Monkey Discovery

Did you know that a new type of monkey was discovered in India? It is called the Arunachal macaque. These types of monkeys haven’t been seen since 100 years ago. Millions of people want to see this monkey and I am one of them. Now these are everywhere. The people that there in that areas know the monkeys a ton. Some people call them munzala or deep forest monkeys. Scientists are studying these monkeys day and night to see if they are endangered or not. However, they got good signs because people don’t hunt these animals for food or sport. Scientists claim to have seen animals not known in Asia. For example the leaf deer, the barking bear, and the Chinese goral. How would you like to discover a new species?

NASA Scramjet

Have you heard the news? NASA Scramjet breaks a speed record. It went ten times the speed of sound at 6,800 mph! The supersonic jet only lasted ten seconds. To go at that speed it gets to scoop up chunks of air. NASA hopes to create a scramjet that can take off by itself. Also, they hope to make a plane that can be shot into space. Any jet that is supersonic has to be flown over the Pacific Ocean because it makes a loud noise that is louder than tazmanian devils. How would you like to operate the invincible scram jet?

The Great Discovery

Did you hear that in August 31, 2004 scientists claimed to have discovered 10 to 12 solar planets? Paul Butler and Geoffrey Marcy discovered these planets.Jupiter the dark spotted planet insn't the only one out in the mysterious space. Paul Butler named one of the solar planet Canri. Can you believe that it takes Canri less than three days to orbit it's sun? The sun is only one fourth of our sun's size! It is said to be an M Drawf sun. After Canri there are said to be another nine to ten solar palnets. Now scientists are more focused on the Earth-sized planets. If you were supposed to name the planets what would you name the solar planets?

The Rovers Continue

Did you know that the rover Spirit is still in Mars? The Spirit is looking for water on Mars. It is doing an exellent job and will keep on going. Spirit has taken a ton of information. However, it has a problem with its wheels. The people of NASA are looking for water erosion and deposition. Also, they are looking for volcanic ash flows. The mission has lasted longer than expected. It was supposed to last about four months. If you controlled the rover what would you do? Would you play with it, or will you try to find things that nobody has ever seen? Explain your answer.

Polar Bear Facts About It

Do you know that a polar bear's skin is actually black? If you didn't, shouldn't you pay more attention to this? A polar can run up to 40 miles per hour. Polar bears can weigh 400 to 1,000 pounds! They usually go for little seals, but if they are really hungry they will go for older seals or baluga whales. Polar bears will go into the water to catch their pray. A polar bear is built for extreme temperatures. A polar bear's fur is so white that it is like a scoop of sweet vanilla ice-cream. For this reason, a polar bear can blend in it's envirorment, and can attack it's prey faster than you can say "I ran to the top of Mt. Everest and climbed The Petrona Towers." A male will fight for a female, but one can get killed or hurt. If you saw a polar bear, what would you do? Will you tell an adult, or will you touch it? It is your choice, say what you would do, other than the ones I wrote down.

Hurricane Charley

Hurricane Charley was one of the worst hurricanes of the hurricane season. About 57 people died and 17 were injured. A school was destroyed because of the hurricane, and they won't go to school until it is constructed again. How many people were left without homes? How many people lost power? Have you ever expireneed a hurricane? What did you plan to do?

My Revised Version

Did you hear about the tropical cyclone in the hurricane season that hit like a storm so big that you would never forget? Well if you didn't, you want to hear this. Hurricane Charley caused at least 57 humans to ascend and left 17 injured. A school was destroyed violently by the hurrricane, and the students can't go to school until it was repaired. The kids had go to a church for school.
