Something that is interesting are valcanos. They are so interestig becuase they can erupt at any time. The are so beutiful. I can name some Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Everest, and Mt. Kinly. These are all huge valcanos. Some valcanos can erupt constinly. Valcanos can have trees, flowers, and people on them while erupting. Sometimes valcanos can come from the sea to above sea level. I think the lava moves at 200 miles per hour. Mt. St. Helens is on the news alot these days.

Yes, Mt. St. Helens has been on the news a lot lately. Can you tell us why the volcano is getting all this media attention? What causes volcanoes to erupt?

Dear Ms. Meeler,
I think it is getting so much attention becuase it has not erupted for a long time. The heat and pressure cause the valcano to spue (erupt).
