Shrek Goes Big

     British director Sam Mendez is in charge of the new Shrek musical.  It should hit the stage by 2006.

     Shrek is a very successful animated film.  Early this year, Shrek 2 became the biggest film of all.

     Jason Moore, the director, said "making the film into a musical will be a challenge because he has to make it into a musical."

     I like the film Shrek because it was funny and the best comedy ever.  Donkey was really funny.

     Shrek 2 was okay.  I liked the cat alot.  The prince, Prince Charming, was to mean and only cared for himself.

     Fiona was more boring than in the 1st Shrek.  She wasn't funny.  Her father and mother looked surprised when they saw her as a ogre.  I am glad that she married Shrek.  They make a good couple.

     The funniest part was when Donkey kept on asking if they were there yet.  If you don't know they're going to "Far, Far, Away."

     Explain how you feel about Shrek 1 and 2?

I saw Shrek 1 but have not seen Shrek 2 so I can't compare them yet. I really liked Shrek 1. I thought it was most amusing! I laughed a lot. My favorite quote in the movie was when the donkey said, "I'm a donkey on the edge!" What is your favorite quote from either movie?
