I read a tip from Tips For Young Writers.
Tip 3: Chop it out! Sometimes things are better left unsaid. Always check your work to be sure every word has a place and slash the ones that stick out.
I think it means like when you give too much information, people might get bored. It gives the same information over and over again. It can sometimes be too wordy.
Here is some tips I made: Tip 1: Always use higher level thinking words from Bloom's Taxonomy and use vivid words.
Tip 2: Don't copy the same word over and over again.
Tip 3: Revise your work before reading in front of a audience.
Tip 4: Use your voice in your writing.
Tip 5: Don't write about something that bores you. It is important to enjoy your own writing.
I think that you give supper advice. I am one to just get to the point as well. It becames boring and draining to read material that has filler information that is not needed. Another TIP for you to think about is always declaring what the subject is in a sentence. Never use "it", "he", or "she" if you have not specified the subject in the sentence. You are really starting to understand the writing process. I was impressed with your blog and how much insight you have on this topic. Writing for pleasure is a wonderful outlet and I hope as you mature, you will enjoy it as much as I do.
