Nichols Strikes!

            Nichols shot and killed four people in court. He killed the judge, the officer, and the court reporter.

             It is so sad. He was not even in handcuffs or shackels. That was not fair. He could have killed everybody.

             After the shooting he ran. Then he held a girl hostage. I bet she was terrified.

             Nichols went beside a car and when the lady got out he walked behind her. She could have called the police, but she didn't. The police still found him. He literally waved a white flag. He surrendered.

                  The lady, Ashley, who owned the car got him to surrender. She gave him a nice talk, because she believed in him. So, she got a wonderful $10,000 reward. Amazing, huh?

                   His daughter and wife were on Good Morning America.His daughter wanted to know if he had any other children. He had left her when she was a lot younger. She never thought he would do something like that.

Late Winter Up North

    This is Ashley from JH HOUSE NEWS REPORTER. Todays news is updating cold weather in North Carolina to Maine.  Results of this chilly storm is flight cancellations, schools are closing, and the need to clear snow covered roads.

      Some towns were buried in six-foot tall drifts in Massachusetts. Part of Blue Ridge Mountians were covered in one foot of snow. Clifton, New Jersey is only getting six inches.

        So get your coat on before going outside. You should really bundle up!

Slam Dunk in China

• It was Yao Ming’s first basketball game in China

• Basketball is the most popular game in China

• Finally Chinese people watched their first NBA game

• The Chinese government was furious because the Chinese people were wearing American shirts

• Yao’s team is termed the Huston Rockets

I wonder if it is still true, that if a Chinese couple has more tan 1 or 2 kids the government tells them they'll have to kill one.

Bam! Bam! Bam! China’s youngest basketball player finally gets to play there!!! Basketball is the most famous sport in China. Yao Ming finally got to play in his country. Yao’s team is termed the Houston Rockets. The Chinese government was furious because the Chinese society was wearing American shirts.
China’s government is really strict. I think they still tell people if they have more than one kid they have to kill them. Explain how you would feel if you lived in China.
