A New Flow for Middle Schools!

Weblogging is awesome. We get to blog about the news. I blog about animals, movies, T.V. shows, and global news. Sometimes we blog to Mrs. Davis' s college students. The class gets comments from

people around the world.

In third, fourth, and fifth grade we watched CNN student news. It helps us a lot with weblogging. Like when we write about the news CNN helps us to write more. When I did a report on tsunamis, it helped to look at my CNN notes.

I think that middle schools should have weblogging  because it makes your writing exquisite. Blogging made my writing longer and more interesting. I used to write short stories and didn' t  use  vivid  words. Now I am one of the best writers in class. You could be a great writer, too.

Middle schools kids need help with writing. Some kids can not write well. Weblogging will you a great writer.

Mrs. Davis helped me a lot. She taught us how to make  hyperlinks, use vivid words, not to use the same words, and many more things.

It is fun to blog on the internet. It is like your diary, but better. People love your writings. You get some very nice comments.  I got comments from Pat Street , a famous writer. She writes nice, long comments. So, you could get comments from people that you don' t even know. That is the fun of it.

               All schools should have webloggers.

What We Learned In Weblogging

Since the beginning the year weblogging has been a great experience. The very first thing we posted was called "My first Post". We get to write about a lot of current events. I write about movies, world news, and persuasive pieces. I like to write on the blog.

I like to blog because you have a voice. You can express yourself. You could get comments from people all over the world. I got a comment from a person in Japan, Canada, and college students.

In class Mrs. Davis and Ms. Meeler taught us a lot. We learned how to make a hyperlink, use vivid words, do not use the same word over again, do not start every sentence with "the", and many more things.

When we write our blogs we sometimes get comments. I write a lot of comments . Sometimes I write three to four in one day. I like to write comments. You can tell people positive things about their writings. If they made a couple of mistakes, you should let them know. After you do that you should tell how much you liked their writing.

Recall a time that you remember about one of your classes.

Dear Teacher-To-Be

Dear Teacher-To-Be,

My name is Ashley. My weblogging teacher is Mrs. Davis. We talked about how you all want to be teachers. I think that is cool.

You should be enthusiastic when you teach. Kids like exciting methods. If you wonder why they sleep in class, it is because they are bored.

You should always give examples and let them work it out. Most children love to write on the black board or the white board. In my class we have so much fun with the white board.

We learn really fast with fun methods. Say like less talk, more action. In my fourth grade class Mr. Batlle helped us study in a fun way for a reading test. We went into the K station and made a movie. The story was like a script from a play. It was so much fun. Maybe you could do something like that.

Blooms Taxonomy is fun to remember. The words are Keep Calm At All Sports Events. The real words are Knowledge, Comprehension, Application, Analysis, Synthesis, and Evaluation.

A way to keep your mind and body working together is to look at the board and imagine an eight note. Then imagine a mouse running around it. Ask your students what colors they are. It is fun and gets you thinking.

I hope get far in teaching. Good luck.
