Many are wondering will the loss of Shuttle Columbia change future space travel forever?
Brave explorers take many risks in space travel and on February 1,2003 the world was tragically reminded of those high risks. Seven brave-hearted astronauts lost their lives after traveling six million miles into outer space on shuttle Columbia. The shuttle ripped to tons of tiny pieces just minutes before it was to land. As the nation filled with grief and tears President Bush warmed the nation and spoke " Our journey to space will go on." But NASA has immediately stopped all shuttle flights until further due. America is left wondering about the future of NASA and other space programs.
