The last day of  the wrinkles group

Today is my last day in the wrinkles group. I will miss Mrs. Davis. This week is the last of the fifth graders because next year we will go to Middle School. Tomorrow we will have the ceremony.

Get it ! Got it ! Good !:

G

groan, good writing, group, Georgia State, good grief, "Get it? Got it! Good!"

give us the shirt off her back

Even though we groan at Mrs. Davis, she would give us the shirt off her back. Mrs. Davis comes all the way from Georgia State to blog with us. Mrs. Davis¢Áçs favorite saying is "Get it? "We say "Got it! "she says "Good!." Then we all laugh and get to work. She says it to make sure we know what to do. Sometimes we want to yell "GOOD GRIEF!" because we have so many things to do, but so little time. Good writing is our goal! Getting to work with this group is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!!!!

verbs

                                      VERBS

Blog-  This is a new verb for me. It means written words in my computer. I like to blog    about basketball.  I like to blog about my past. I like to blog about things that happen in my family. I was excited when I start to blog in my first weblog in the United States.

Zip-This is another new word. This is for me walk quikly. I like to zip when I will play basketball. I zip when I go to ride my bike. I zip when I go to the mall. I was exited when I zip  to my first day of Mrs. Davis class.

The basketball is cheersful

When I was 8 years old my uncle makes me to enjoy the basketball. He shows me how to play basketball. My Dad like play basketball too and he help me to play better. When I play basketball with my dad I learn more than before and I feel better. When I was in Mexico I dont like too much basketball, but I like to play soccer so when I go to here I start to like more and learn more about basketball. When I put the ball in to the basket that makes me excited.

Weblog Thought

I like this class because I learn more English. We talk about things to happend in the week. We go to the computers and I write about my weblog. We learn more about computers because Mrs. Davis help us. Sometimes I don't under stand what Mrs. Davis said but I ask to Noe and Noe tell me, like sometimes I don't under stand the homework and Noe help me. I felt better then the others times because now I know more English then the other times.

A gift for the Bronx zoo

This year, New York's Rockefeller Center Christmas tree was recycled to make for the Bronx Zoo's Siberian tigers, grizzly bears, African Lions, Asian small - clawed otters, snow leopards, and polar bear.  At the Bronx Zoo, a primary goal is to reproduce the animals nautral environments and to find toys that keep them engaged physically and mentally.  It's really important for animals to get a lot of stimulation to exercise their bodies and mind.  The big cats were given cross-sections of the trunk with strip of deer hide attached to them.  The toys were also sprayed with perfumes to attract and stimulate the cats.  The polar bear, blizzard, made his way over to his new toy, a cross-section of the tree with an inserted branch, and effortlessly lifted the bottom of the massive branch.  He dragged it around, knocked it down, and then proceeded to find a way to stand it upright again.
