Reflections on Highschoolers

I learned and was astonished that Devin has a lot of comedy in his comment to Matt on the opening to his story. He  gives some very good info. for the reader, like hooking the reader's attention, good leads, and more. I like the tactics that he used in the story and comment. I really consider to listen to them both. I also like how he put the comedy at the right places.  The story has some information that really is important for people to know if they use ebay.com ALOT!!!!!!

Severe Bombings

Al Qaeda made a second severe explosion. the bomb hit the Iraqi capitol. At least around 47 people died from the blast. The bomb came from a suicide car. An official with Iraq's government called this an act of cowardice. Tuesday's bombing killed at least 50 people that are seen as cooperators with the coalition. The two attacks do appear to bear the style of the group. So what's the U.S. doing, to put the terrorist out of business?

FIRST DRAFT-2004 ELECTIONS

  2004   ELECTIONS

The representatives are really taking the bull by the horns in the 2004 elections and  primary  elections . Republican  party is really waiting for the elections and they aren't having primaries , but the Democrats are. Republican party is really going to throw caution to the wind in these up coming  elections . What do you  think of  the democrats and their  representatives for the 2004 votes?  John Kerry is so far, he's in the lead . But  Gepeart, Leiberman , and  Dean are washing their hands of something . Dean said that he  will drop out  if he loses another primary.

About the Weblogs

Once I heard about this assignment, I knew what to say about it. Weblogs are fun to write about things in the news and you alo get to have fun with IDIOMS. We do assignments and when we come back we write down our homework on our weblogs. Weblogs are a great experience for people to learn and get better at writing. Do you like to write LOOONNNGGG stories? Weblogs are good for sharing information you learn about in the news or in schools and libraries. When we come to Mrs. Davis's class, we have discussion going on in the room and we think of things that are really important in the news or whats happening in schools. You can learn from other people if they have weblogs. "It's the newspaper of the internet."

Now what do you think about weblogs?

Palestinians want Peace!!??!!

Can you believe that Palestinians want peace between them and the Israelis?

Palestinian leader Yassar Arafat wants to have as much chaos as he can with Israel and it's army. But Israel is giving them a choice to fight against them. Pakistan is not in the mood for war and has bad economy. They need time away from all the war and fighting that is happening there.

Do you think that Iraq has nothing to do with this? Why, or why not?

Musical Pirates

During the last year, hundreds of music lovers were facing lauwsuits for copyrighting infringement over the internet. It's now the same song, different tune...lawyers were getting court orders  from users from IPs. Those names would determine who to file suit against. So, now, the music industry is using the so-called "john doe" process to sue defendants without even knowing their names. Here's how it works: the lawsuits identify defendants by their IP address, wich is unique  number assinged to each computer while its user is online. Once the suits are filed, record lables get the information from ISPS that would identify users by their own names.

Now do you want to steal music? Why or Why not?

Spirit Goes Up and Up

Do you know how long Spirit was in space whem it landed on Mars?

On  January 3, 2004 the rover Spirit landed on Mars right about at its target. Spirit is the size of a golf cart and has to take pictures and send them down to Earth, but there is no way for it to get back to earth but thanks to technology Spirit can take pictures and send them from where it is. It is concealed on at Mars's red dust for however log it exists. What NASA is trying to figure out is if homosapeans/ humans can get on the planet and do their own research in person. Do you want to know the answer to the question? Spirit was in space for about 2 months.

First up: Legalizing Illegals

First up... President Bush is making a plan that will change the lives of over 8,000,000. That's how many illegal immagrants are in the U.S. today. But Bush wants them to work legally.  Bush's plan would allow workers from abroad to renew their status after three years. That way they won't have to worry about getting sent back. As most of the illegal workers in the country-region U.S are Hispanic...the president's critics say he's just trying to secure Hispanic votes in this year's upcoming election.  His plan could dramaticly change for the other businesses . I think this is both good and bad because they are here illegaly. What do you think about the illegal aliens in the U.S.?
