Where was that sound coming from!! It sounds like Super Thinker. She comes around the corner in a flash. I only heard on Thursday, 18th, 2003 that she comes around looking for posts to write flattering comments. She might go to your site so be excited about it!!!! I might get more remarks, comments, sayings, and utterances from Super Thinker so don't be afraid if you were COMPLEMENTED from her. So watch out for her!!!!

The Frustrations of Life

Do you ever feel like you don't have enough time to read or play? I never have enough time to read in school because we are always busy. I say we need to have more time for everything in life.

We don't even have enough time to finish tests. Even in businesses you are still rushed to do your work. People don't listen. They just pass you without saying hello because they're so rushed and busy. Do you ever have 5 minutes to do your work or play or even just to read anymore?  What's your opinion on this?

Concorde Says Good Bye

     Good morning America. Stand by for news. People that are flying the Concorde are saying that it needs to be taken out of busness and it can't be used again. They said  they are going to take it out of busness before the year 2004. The air ports of Australia, England, America, and Russia are where it used to be. Influenza (flu) Shots

Do you need the flu shot? Kids our age are getting the flu and haven't gotton their shots yet. They are dying from influenza. Parents should let their kids get the flu vaccination so they don't get infected with the contageous virus, cause if they go to school they could transfer it to another person.   Have you ever had the flu before? I have only had it once and it was not a pretty picture for me. So you should at least get your flu shot before they run out.

Thinking about Weblogs

    We were having a discusion with Mrs. Davis. She has given us information that would actually help us in our writing. I was motivated in the middle of the discusion because Mr. Richardson also gave information  for our writings and poems and stories of whatever interests us. Mrs. Davis said," You can look into other peoples thoughts to help you get what you want out on to paper." That really helped me when she said that. When I listen to some one elses thoughts I get thoughts in my head.

     I'm  able to have my very own weblog. We have to work hard on what we want to write about. That's what I learned from this discussion. Kids can write about the things that go on in their lives over the past couple of years. I could do that easily because I can remember as far back as kindergarten. That's what they can discuss on the internet if they wanted to. 

     I spent time helping Juana with her post to find the words inside that she want to talk about and write about. It is not very easy to do this and she is doing very well. How to do this is to talk to her, ask some questions and then write it down and then she  writes what she said.

This is my weblog where we write about current events and other ideas. I am in the fifth grade and have been in Mrs. Davis' group twice. This is my second year in the computer group. My First Post

My name is Derrick. This is my second year being in Mrs. Davis' group. It is a wonderful place to share feelings and news reports. I'm excited to learn about new people and bloggers in our group because it's never late to get new friends. I made a new friend the first day we got here. I was in this group last year, but this is so much fun to be in the same group twice. Our new bloggers are beginning to get REALLY great at it after 5 or 6 meetings. It is fun to get together with them every Thursday of the week. I really hope we get to do this in Middle School.
