Another ice age could have occurred, but these 8 kids would not have even noticed it. They were sucked into playing a video game. Yes, there recently was a Quidditch video game tournament in California and 8 lucky people got to participate. In the video game, Quidditch is the game played by Harry Potter and his classmates at Hogwarts. A group of children astride broomsticks through a basketball-sized ball to teammates until one player gets close enough to through it through a hoop suspended in air: This is a goal, and it's value total equals 10 points in the video game. Randomly at the end of a match, a golden, golf ball-sized ball called a snitch will appear in the playing field, and one important member of each team, called the seeker, will fly quickly and try to catch it. If the seeker grabs it, his or her team gets 150 points and the game ends. Also for the prize for the winner out of the 8 people was that they would be crowned The Top Quidditch Player in the Nation, and then be flown to London to compete against representatives from every nation!!! While playing, the famous star, Bow Wow, provided commentary. Isn't that interesting? Have you ever been SO interested in something? What was or is it, and why do you like it?
Emily, I really think your WRITING is magnificent! Keep up the GREAT work!!!!!!
