Well, this blogging year is almost over, and as it ends, I will cry. Although, I have very, very good memories while blogging, I will miss it very much. I have compiled these reflections on blogging, so hopefully,..........I'll still remember how to blog over the summer.
Wow, I remember the Thursday when Mrs. Poole, our assistant principal, came up to me and asked me if I wanted to join the weblog group again this year. I happily agreed. Well, I even remember when I first joined the group last year, but I guess I'll leave that and return back to my thoughts. For the first couple of weeks, we blogged on Mrs. Davis's blog, while she created ours. It was hectic for the first couple of weeks, because everybody except Jenny, Derrick, and I were new with blogging. I felt proud to know about blogging. The day we got our blogs, we spent all day marveling over them. OK, maybe not ALL day, but for most of it. After our first post everything went smoothly, except trying to teach the new people to copy and paste your writing somewhere else before posting.
Our group has been through some tough times. First Keith left our group, then there was Juana. Yoceline moved, but we have been trying to still blog with her. Also, Murphy has been let loose in our lab countless times, but we have struggled to survive. Our losses have been sad, but we have gained Amber, Angelica, and Noe. Although struggling, our group has gained more friends, more opportunities, and we were given an experence we will never forget.
My feelings on weblogging has changed throughout these 2 years. In 4th grade, I used to think that it was just another place to get more homework. Now, I'm sad if I don't get homework! I enjoy writing and in the future, I hope to help with a high school newspaper, or become a author, or even a journalist! I hope blogging will be a main part of my future!
Writing + Blogging = My life.
