The end of blogs

I feel really bad that  this is our last post of the year. I really want to keep blogging with Mrs. Davies and Mrs. Miller. They were so nice to me and so many ways. Blogging was the must amazing thing that happened to me all the years that I have been in this school. I wish we could all just stay here for ever. This class was the best. The bad thing is that Mrs. Davies is not going to see us any more this year. Even thought the class is so smart I wish we all just stay here and blog. Best wishes to everyone and good luck in CMS or

what I wish

At first I did not like to express myself in front of everyone. I also did not like writing a lot but know it is so COOL. Blogging did not only help me improve my writing but   its my way of expressing my self in front of my teammates. It's also so nice we can talk to one another not only with our mouth but with technology .

What I think we should do is that : should get in to groups to  report on what happens during FIELD DAY!!!!! Yeah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I think that other students liked that idea. Like Shelby, she said she would love if we do that.    I have been a reporter before  for the fifth grade trip to the High Art museum. We loved taking picture of the other students.

I would also like to have blogs in Edwards Middle School !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO you agree with the CRCT test?

Do you agree  with the CRCT ? To me, I think it was a good idea to do it one every day. So when you do math one day think only about math. And if you do reading think all about reading not math or science. To me the hardest was social Studies but most of the others were pretty easy. I like that we could be so concentrated on the test.

After the testing was over and the other classes were not done jet we could whisper and sit any where we wanted and eat our snack. That we went outside. For about 15 to 20 min. I really thank Mrs.Henning and Mrs.Tobler for taking us outside everyday.

Thanks to the lunch ladies for providing the snacks. They were great. THANKS.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

Tips for young writers.

  1. When you get a bad comment this is what you should do:STOP-Tell (tell a grownup-Mrs.Davis or Mrs. Meeler) delete
  2. While doing your writing you can read out loud. It can help you find hiden mistakes.
  3. Never feel bad aboutyour post. If you like it and feel ok with it than leave it.
  4. When you think you have a great blog ask your self the following questions Like:did I bump up my work, did I do my best, and did I rereaded and checked for mistakes.
  5. Never think your post is all right it can have hide mistakes. Always examine your post.

Week out of School !!!!!!!!!!!!

On spring vacation there were numerous of things to do. On Monday we went to the park and played basket ball it was so exiting. My team lost by two or three points. Which was not that bad because we had lots of fun. Then we went home and we were so tired and hungry. So we fixed a wonderful snack. On Tuesday we took our cat to the vet,she was pregnant, the vet said that maybe in one week she would have the kittens. But she had them on Tuesday 12,2005. By the way her name is Grace because she is all gray. Grace had four kitten  in all. We are not sure how many boys or girls there are because they are so small, like four inches long. On  Wednesday we were just at home so as on Thursday. There was a challenging soccer tournament on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We only went on Sunday after church because my cousin, Juan Alberto, was going to play. His team won . His team got three  the other team got zero. But they played great. I had a wonderful week out of school.

Akhil Reed Amar

Akhil Reed Amar, is a professor at a school in Connecticut where he is showing  voice. This is his story:

NO!
The Electoral College is hopelessly outdated. Direct national election would fit better with the American ideal of every person having one vote, equal in value to every other vote. The Electoral college was designed at the founding or our country to help one group: white southern males. Under a direct national election system, northern voters would have outnumbered southerners. But under the Electoral College, the south was given extra clout, thanks to its (nonvoting)slave population. Direct elections would still encourage candidates to focus on voters in all regions. If one person, one vote is the best way to pick governors, why not the country's president? The Electoral college was unfair at our nation's founding, and it still is. So why keep it? Give your answer or your opinion about this.

tips

Have you ever try to help someone in there homework or in a story. well Just give them a tip like this one :Chop it out! Sometimes things are better left unsaid. Always check your work to be sure every word has a place and slash the ones that stick out. I like this tip because it helps you  find words that can help bump up writing.Writing can be really important. Who knows you maybe a writer someday.Even if you are not in writing  it can help you in many thing like: in homework.stores and at BLOGS. Of curse Weblogs is all about writing. WRITE ALL YOU CAN.

The unnormal b-day!!!!!

The Haunted Tower

Read your tale.

One afternoon Jonathan and Shelby were walking down a goofy trail, looking for kindling for their campfire. The trees were crazy and green, and there were colorful wildflowers all around. Jonathan and Shelby began to pick the wildflowers, and after a while, they hiked so far that they had wandered away from the trail.

It started to get dark. Jonathan began to get worried, but Shelby seemed excited to have an adventure. "Look!" Shelby said. "Do you see that chicken? It looks like a house!"

"We're saved!" cried Jonathan, who was relieved.

Once they got closer, Jonathan felt very uneasy again. It didn't look like the cozy little cottage Jonathan had been imagining, but rather a big, spooky tower! It was about 900,000,000,000 feet tall, and it was covered with lime green ivy and moss. It was the creepiest thing Jonathan had ever seen!

Jonathan said, "Shelby, let's keep walking! There's no way I'm going into that tower! It looks haunted!"

"Don't be such a snake! We're going in. I think it looks perfectly un-haunted!" said Shelby.

Jonathan was so scared that he could not open his eyes. He felt his legs chatter as Shelby opened the door. All of a sudden, Jonathan felt that he was not alone. He opened his eyes, prepared to see the worst. But instead, he saw all his friends and family inside the haunted tower! "Surprise! Happy birthday, Jonathan!" they all punshed.
