    When  you  go to J.H .House you know that it is all about learning since third grade to fifth grade. I am talking about current events. You start watching CNN daily and learn about the world and things that can affect you and your peers. Like when 9-11 happened that was terrible to many people.  And again it affected you and your peers because maybe you or they knew people that died.

            CNN is a way that we learn about the daily news. We  heard about the Tsunami that hit in Asia. We had to take lots of notes. Taking notes and having discussions about what we see and hear helps us learn about cnn news. Another way is by coming to weblogs and listening to Mrs. Davis talk about the news and what she learns every day. She is a big help when we are stuck and need help.  We  also get to have help from our friends and people we don't talk to much. That is GREAT!!!  In our regular class we don't get to communicate with others that much. We also get to communicate with forth graders in New York, Pat Street, and different people around the world. In weblogs we are able to talk but to the limits. That's how we learn and have fun at the same time!!!!YEAH

Saddam's Half bro captured

      Hi am Estefany with the CNN Student News. Good morning, to one and all fellas. Well this morning in March . 3.2005. is full of news events. Well Saddam Hussein's half brother (Sabawi Ibrahim)was captured on February  27,2005.Which he is the 36 to be captured from the 55 most wanted list. That  means there are still 19 more to go  from the most wanted list ,but there could be more who knows. Well as we remember Saddam Hussein was capture not to long ago in Syria. I bet we are all happy about this. Who knows what he could do next. We will see you next time in CNN Student News. We will be here.

Basketball

  What I like the best is Playing Basketball.Do you like Basketball? Well I do but for some people who don't know what it is let me explain.The point is to get the ball in to the hop and if you do you just get lot  points for your team.So would you like to play it? why?

        well let me tell you why I like about Basketball. I like it because  you can move and express your and show haw much you love it. I just love playing it. Near my house there are two basketball courts and the summer and spring we used to go there and play.Me and my cousin were in one team and my sister and other cousin were on another team and we used to play against each other.But we are stell going to play this agian this spring and summer.

What I Learn today.

I found out  about  a that polar bear are have gotten on the extinct list of law. They  are trying to stop the global warming because they think that is what causes most of the water to melt.The polar Bear can't get used to this tempter and can die out.They are used to really cold weather and the weather is changing because of pollution.Do you think is that?Why?There are lots of factories the burn things and macks lots of smoke and cause pollution.Well this is a sign that means that we should stop pollution because then all the animal are going to get extinct.

What have you learn this year? Well I started blogging on one Thursday on October. That's the day I had to learn the most but it was a good thing Adrieana was here to help me out. I had to learn what the interesting world of blogging was.    After I had been here for a while I started to get the hang of it. I learned to be able to talk out loud to different people I did not know. By November I was more on the move and typing way! Even though most people were here before I was  I was caching up with them. I loved coming and learning every thing that I gladly can. On December we were still learning about punctuation. Do you know how to use Punctuation? I have always have had a tremendous time in blogs. Mrs. Davis has been the best she can!!! So has Mrs.Meeler!!!

     I hope you get better soon. We heard about what happened on Friday. I hate car crashes. My aunt was in a car crash not too long ago and almost lost her baby. We were so sad when we heard about it. It is not that much fun without you. I hope you feel better soon and come to school.

Election news

Today I read a story on the Election.Adriana wrote a good story on the election. George W. Bush won this years election. I was likely the he was going to win. Adriana did a very good job. When I read her story I could she had lots of details about it. I love how she did so many things.

Things we Did.....

As we walked in the front door, we had to find a seat that was a nice and quiet place. Well, we went to our web logs and saw our new and improved web screen. Mine was pink, with black. They looked awesome. We learn lots of thing this morning. We got to answer some of our comment from the teachers. They sounded like they really enjoyed our advice. Ms.Davis showed us how to take a paragraph and copy a sentence and paste it and write some thing about it. Before that, we could not get to the web logs. But then Ms.Davis found out how to get them up on the screen. I was really

proud because  you got to do the project that we wanted to do.

Dear Teacher, To Be

Hi,my name is Estefany. I am in fifth grade. I have been 6 years in this school (J.H.House).I have known lots of teachers and they were really kind.Some teachers made learning fun.To get your students intrested in learning is making it fun. You really need to give them a break after a test. You can use this hints below.

• make it fun
• make jokes and encourage them to learn.
• Show them how to do there best.
• Don't do the same thing each day let them play one or two games a day .

We have a teacher named  Mrs.Mateling she is the funniest teacher in the whole school. We could hear her  class all the way down the hall.

                   Ms.Scott was one of the best teacher I had every time you passed a  time test she gave us a treat and a sack of our choose .  A time test is  a  Math test that you have to finish in four minutes

In some cases,it toke serval hour for the warning systems to reach the people more far away from shore.This could a help people get to saver gA rounds.
