My last post

Today is my last day of school in elementary.I'm kind of sad because I'm not going to see my freinds again,but the good thing is that I sent a transfer form so that I could go to Conyers Middle School.My only wish is to go to Conyers Middle School.Well, anyway today all the fifth graders are dressesd up real nice.Thank you Superthinker for you know what.Well. Bye.

A-B-C blook

Today is our last day in Mrs. Davis's group. Tomorrow, Friday, is the fifth grade fare-well.Well, but the good news is that next year there is going to be another wrinkles group. Anyway we are  going fto give you a sneak preview of our joint book that we made. The book is called A-B-C blook.OK, let me get   to the point.The letter I'm doing is B. B is for brain storming.

get down to brass tacks, busy as bees

Before we blog on our blogs we always brainstorm about titles, good vocabulary, great leads, and interesting topics. We love being independent and having choices on topics. We are a busy, blogging group. Brainstorming helps us get down to brass tacks. Our latest bulletin is that we have created a new word, blook. As we were writing our paragraphs and illustrating our ideas about weblogs, we decided since we were creating an ABC blog book, it should be called a blook! We even made up another word and that's blog potatoes. You could say that we are blog potatoes who are busy as bees blogging and blooking!

Weblogs are very important to me because they have changed my writing life. I have gotten comments about my wrting. This Spring all students took a State Writing Test. I was real nervous when I was doing the writing because I thought I was going to do bad. Well, the results came back and I actually did really good.T hey said "your story was a pleasure to read.Keep on writing good stories and I was in level six. I was real shocked! Well got to  go Bye!

The Granny Awards

The Granny Awards is just next week.Im talking about Chorus.I'm going to be Blanca Flor (White Flower).Blanca Flor is like Snow White, but a little bit different.In the play My real mother is the Queen she wants to be the only beautiful women, but she has a daughter (which is me) and she is also beautiful.The Queen has a mirror which she always asks the same question Who is the most beautiful of all? Once the mirror answered your daughter Blana Flor. She sends Juan, his trusted worthy servant to kill Blanca Flor.  But he doesn't kill her beacuse Blanca Flor always has been nice to him. He tells her to run away and never return.Blanca Flor finds a hut were she stays,but  robbers live there who steal from the rich to give to the poor. The Queen finds that Juan didn't kill Blanca Flor and sends Juan to jail.The Queen finds where Blanca Flor lives and gives her a necklace with sleeping potion. The prince finds Blanca Flor and he falls in love with her. He orders his servants to take the coffin to his palace. He asks a guard to take care of Blanca Flor. This guard loves to steal. He sees that Blanca Flor has a golden necklace, and steals it from her. Blanca Flor suddenly wakes up and the guard runs away. The Prince heard a lot of noise and ran towards where Blanca Flor was. The princess saw the prince and fell in love with the prince. At the end, the prince and the princess Blanca Flor lived happily ever after.

Today we did a picture of  the assignment that we had last week. I had to draw a link. We didn't have enough time to draw . Well, Mrs. Davis is calling me. See ya later!

Jackie, I wish I could understand why you like to go shopping. Another thing to consider is to add a little more "pazaz". For example you could say what kind of clothes you buy and what you see at the mall. Overall you did an exxcellent job!

Shopping second draft

Do you like shopping ? Well , I  do . I like to shop at Stone Crest mall. The stores I like  to shop are called Limited too ,LVL. X , 579 , Forever 21,Claries, Journeys and Hot Topic. Every Saturday when we go to the mall I can only spent $50.00 to $70.00 dollars on clothes and jewerly. When I don't do my chorse I 'can only spent $30.00 dollars.The clothes I buy sometimes I can't wear for school beause their to skimpy. The brand of clothges that I like to wear are Mudd and Let me B. The shoe brand I like to wear are  Phat farms, Addidas Superstar ,Violation and K-swiss. Ok, maybe I talk about clothes to much ,but I'm adicted to clothes. I also like purses ,but they have to match the clothes that I wear. You shoujld go and check out the mall. You will have lots of fun .(  Well , if you like shopping.)

Shopping first draft

Shopping is very fun. You can find all types of clothes,jewerly, and shoes at the mall. The mall is my favorite place to shop I buy my clothes at stores called Forever 21, limited too, lvl.x ,549 and I dont remember what other stores I go to. I buy my shoes at Journeys.

   Every Saturday my mom and i go to the mall at  Stonecrest. We  buy clothes to wear Sundays or Saturdays. Sometimes when I don't do my chores my mom doesn't buy me anything and I have to buy myself. Well,you should go,and check out the mall.I'm telling you .You are going to lovet!

Thoughts about Weblogs & Student Comments

I like how Mallory expressed another person's writing by saying "also one thing that I'm particularly impressed with the fact that Dana truly picked a topic that I think she's passionate about". She could of said I like the how Dana said so and so''.

I also think that Claries comments on Mallory's site are real cool because she is saying why she likes it. Lot of people like hearing what other people think.

I think Devin's comments on Jess's site are really good, because it tells you what he and his classmates think about the comment.

I liked all the comments because they explain why they like it and they put on the comments real good vocabulary.
