A sneak peek of the Blook!

This is just a sneak peek of the blook written and illustrated by the Thinking and Writing Wrinkles group. This picture is one of the drawings in our blook of blogs. Sadly, though this is our last meeting in this spectactular blog group. I am going to miss it.sniff. Well I guess it is time to let you have a sneak peek of what the story is.

Mouse Potatoes:

M

mouse potatoes, making comments, Murphy, marvelous, minds

Murphy gets loose, make a mountain out of a molehill

It is marvelous to make and answer comments. We are mouse potatoes because we are so busy working on the computer, learning new things. Sometimes we get frustrated because Murphy gets loose in the lab. If we think we may not finish our weblogs, we have been known to make a mountain out of a molehill about this. However, we always climb the mountain and accomplish our goals. Weblogs make us use our minds!

Weblog Reflection

We started out in a dull classroom. Until Mrs. Davis came back and introduced us to weblogs. It was hard to get started and make our our own weblogs because murphy got loose and made the internet go down. A LOT.Now that that is finished, the group now does articles, idioms, world news, interviews, and a whole basket full of things. Really the most frustrating thing about weblogs is FORGETTING TO COPY YOUR POST. I really enjoy writing in the Thinking and Writing Wrinkles Group. I think that the group has learned new skills in writing and especially in projecting our voices. I just want to say having a weblog in the classroom isn't a bad idea. It could be very educational and very helpful if you want to put it that way. I hope that our future bloggers can help us make a better world. I think I will be a future blogger in the years to come.

What I am Passionate About/Rough Draft 2

I am passionate about country music. Everyday when I get home from school I turn on the radio and listen to Kix101.5. To me it feels like I am in my own world doing what I want to do. Country music is like the best of the best in music history.

I am not only passionate about country music, I am also passionate about jazz music too. Just to use some background knowledge, did you know that jazz came from the African American heritage? And did you know that jazz was very popular music all across the country around the 1920s? Well, if you didnt you should review your history!

I am not only passionate about music I am also very passionate about art as well. Every time I get a pad of paper and a pencil I always start to draw. I really dont know what I am going to draw, but the drawings seem to turn out cool.

These are really the three main things I am really passionate about. What are you passionate about?

Blogging Reflection

I read a post Mrs. Davis wrote on the Thinking and Writing Wrinkles website. I really am tickled pink that Mr. Richardson's class  is going to just teach us "indirectly". I also liked how the students wrote to each other and told their friend in detail how they need to revise their story. These tremendous student voices really helped us to write a very well written comment. I think after this "project" we will be blogging  like maniacs! Well this ends our one-of-a-kind blogging experience!!!
