One day I was walking in the park. My mom said to be home at six, but I was woolgathering. I was thinking about me being on a dog-eared page of a book. I thought this place was going to the dogsfat cat looking up. I looked up too, and it looked like it was going to rain cats and dogs. Just then the fat cat looked at me and said," Are you a man or a mouse?" he asked in a demanding voice. I couldn't reply just then, but he also said I was a silly goose and a big frog on a small pond. Just then I felt something touch me. I looked and there was my mom standing in front of me with a watch. I looked at the watch and it was 8:30 p.m.! I wanted to break the silence, but I didn't know what to say. So I said,"Um ...he.. Hello. I'm .. late to get home ." She gave me the eagle eye and I immediately knew I was going to be in the doghouse!
