The Missing Food

This is one of the tales I made up in the Wacky Web Tales.

Dear Patrick,

Last week I helped solve a mystery and had a real hairy time. When it was lunchtime, I found out my red snake sandwich was missing.

I told Ms. Mahan and she said the whole class could help me find my snake sandwich. Ms. Meeler thought she found it, but it turned out to be a small chair. Marcos thought he found it, but it was someone's gross Juan. Finally, I found it under the car. It burp out when I opened my lunchbox.

Next time, I'm going to put my snake sandwich in a closed JH House Elementary School so I won't lose it.

Your friend,
Jhonathan

Becoming a Better Citizens

Wow that was so cool. Oh you there I"m talking about CNN. Since third grade we learned about the news because we watched CNN Student News at J.H.House Elementary School. We learn about things that are happening in the world.  For example,we learned about the U.S.A presidential elections to the war in Iraq and to the ban of smoking in Italy. In fourth grade it increased.  We discuss about it. Now in fifth grade we have a group about it and it is Web blog. We write about events and hear from many different people. One of the current events I found interesting was the tsunami and all those stories about the survivors.I wish this would be in Middle School next year. I hope this helped you understand the importance in weblog. Don't you want your student to learn more? Don't you want them to  be informed citizens? And  best of all they will become better writers.

Hi! This is Jhonathan   reporting for duty from the Eagle Reporters. First up,Bin Laden Ads. The U.S.A is taking an approach towards catching al qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden and other terrorist.  There's currently a 25 million dollar reward for information to bin Ladens capture.Wow! If I was Bin Laden I would be hiding. Personally I would like Bin Laden to get capture and never hurt anyone else.

Next up, Wal-Mart Labor Debate. The U.S. Department fined Wal-Mart 135 thousand dollars for having teenagers operate hazardous loading equipment. The government will give Wal-Mart 15 days prior notice of any Labor Department investigation into such matters. Well that's today news  I hope you have a great day. From the Eagle Reporters I am here and out.

Basket Ball

Ready set shoot! He makes it. If you don't know what I'm talking about it is basketball. This isn't a hard sport. You have to have a lot of skills ,like shooting. It is very cool like a dog in a swimming pool. This is not a boring sport. You can play for minutes or even hours. Some people even get rich just because there playing it. Like Michel Jordon. How  would you feel in the future if you will be a pro? The game is pretty simple you have to make it to the ather person's goal.

The Great Lesson Plan

In this lesson plan by Rodney , students conduct internet research on the two Washingtons and are asked a series of questions about each. The questions encourage students to consider the differences in the two Washingtons, that one is a city and the other a state, that they are on opposite sides of the nation, that they are many miles apart, etc,

AW my brain hurts becuase of Rodney's lesson plan is so great. I like it because, they get to ask  a series of questions. That is a good lesson plans. Please read Rodney's blog because his is intresting and  you might learn somthing.

The Things We Learn

The first thing that I thought when I went into the group was that it wasn't cool because it was just writing in the computer. Then when I got in it was cool because we act out and get to play games. I have new friends like Alejandro. Best of all we learn a lot. We learn how to take articles from the current event sites and write a story about it. We learn how to post how to post articles into our weblog. We learn how to post comments on other peoples articles. I was having fun with idioms like you are a bark from the old log. I had a lot of fun from hyper linking to other sites. This has been a fun year with a lot of learning  inside of it. It help my writing by putting more life into it. Like somebody talking straight at them without a computer.

The Stolen Rare Monkeys

I was looking around and something caught my eye.  It was an article about three people who got arrested for stealing rare monkeys.

I was like a dog catching a Frisbee. I have never seen these kinds of  animals before.

How can people be so crazy? Well, I will never steal those rare monkeys. The rare monkeys are for the public to see. I wish people wouldn't steal. Don't you?

My Favorite Post

In the beginning of class we opened the internet and responded to the comments in our weblog. We got lots of comments. I was like a dog scratching its collar and started writing like lightning back to the comments. Mrs. Davis went to open our class weblog. Then we went to the weblogs and we picked our favorite post. Then she went to word. She put the email address of the GSU students. Then she showed us how to make a link to that weblog.

This is my favorite weblog from Addie Blog

I thought the blog I read was very sweet. The student was so excited to be sharing her ideas with me. She had a great outlook on learning and teachers. She made me feel very excited about becoming a teacher. Her main advice was to make learning fun. I totally agree. Fun in the classroom has been one of my personal missions. She was very encouraging. I think that blogging is a good way of engaging the students.

Yes I think so too. It is so exciting. It really likes my teacher. She is so funny and she understands us. That is the teacher I like.

Dear Teacher To Be

Hi.  My name is Jhonathan. This is my opinion of how a teacher should be. They should have respect for their children. They should  let their children to speak freely. They should help the child if they are left behind. They should do activities to help the children  learn better. You should let them play outside  at least every Friday

Let me give you an example like  the time Mrs. Davis made us act out Be Calm At All Sports Events.  That  helps me know the Blooms Taxonomy. It means Knowledge, Comprehension, Application,Analysis,Synthesis, and Evaluation. I always remember what it means because I act it out. We acted like we were rude but, then we acted like angels.
