Yasser Arafat was born in Cairo,Egypt in 1929 . He was elected chairman of the Palestine Liberation (PLO) 1969 . In 1990 he supported Saddam Hussein during the first Gulf War. Yasser sighned a peace agreement with Isreal in 1993. In 2001 Isreal blockades him inside his West Bank HQ. Yasser Arafat dies late Thursday in France.
