Australias toxic toad

In the morning when I came to blog I went to the current event site to find an interesting fact and it suddenly caught my eye.

The very poisonous cane toad is now one of Australia's most dangerous pests - so full of lethal chemicals it can kill a kangaroo.

They were brought over to Australia from Hawaii around 70 years ago to stop the spread of cane beetles. But now they're out of control and breeding so fast there are over 100 million of them. And they're spreading. Australian authorities are now so desperate to stop the toads spreading that they're offering a cash prize for someone to find the best way to round them up.

Supernova Explosion

The detailed account of an exploding star made 432 years ago by the great Danish astronomer Tych Brahe, together with new data from the hubble Space Telescope, the 10-meter W. M. Keck telescope and other observations is helping today's astronomers pin down the origins of supernova explosions.
An international team of astronomers led by Spain's Pilar Ruizlapuente and including U.C. Berkley's Alex Filippenko has indentified the probable surviving companion star to a Titanic supernova explosion.

LUNAR MINI-CAMERA

Since its ariane launch from Kourou in September 2003, the small but remarkable SMART-1 satellite has been silently spiralling its way to the MOON. Next January it will reach its final orbit and start science observations. SMART-1 is a tacknology demonstrator into which the European SPACE ANGENCY has packed many innovative space techniques to be used on future interplanetary mission. Compactnees and miniturisation are keyfeatures of SMART-1 and its science instruments. In its final operation orbit, SMART-1 will be circling between 3,000 and 300 kilometers over the MOON's pole. AMIE will be able to map a2,000 km bombardment 4 billion years ago. It will also look at polarcreaters whose botom is never reached by sunlight.

Technology is Important

Technology is the most important thing that affects our lives. Our technology was constructed by inventors like Orville and Wilbur Wright and Thomas Edison. Why did they invented it? They don't know why they invented it, or they simply wanted to make our lives easier. We also wouldn't have found these planets or make robots like Rovers or Spirit that fly in outer space and find new planets or find water like in MARS or the new planet called SEDNA behind PLUTO. Or we wouldn't have found what our planet is made of. If you were an inventer what would you invent?
