Oxygen And Carbon In An Extrasolar Planet.

Hubble has detected oxygen on another planet. The oxygen and carbon are bleeding off a gas gaint extrasolar planet. It is orbiting a star 150 light years from Earth! The planet is  called Osiris after the Egyptian god that lost part of his body like HD209458b. I wish I could know more about the planet. Could anyone tell me more information?  It completes its orbit around the star in less than 4 days.  HD209458b belongs to a class called "Hot Jupiters." Its atmosphere is so hot that it boils hydrogen into space. The starlight passing through the envelope shows that it is being ripped off by the panet's evaporating hydrogen. The planet is only 4.3 million miles from it's sun like star.  If you were chosen to go to a planet outside our solar system what would you take and why?

New human species discovered

Have you heard the news that  a group of archaeologists discovered  human bones? The scientists dicovered the bones in a 130 feet cave in Indonesia. The head was much smaller than a regular human one.The skeleton might of excisted 18,000 years ago. The bones were from a male, that was about 3 feet tall. The people that excisted 18,000 years were known as the Flores people. How did the Flores people go extinct? Their brain was thought to be 1/7 smaller than a regular one. There have been 7 more human species  discovered. Describe how would you feel if you were an archaeoliogist  and you were holding the bones in your hands?

The Race for Space

People make new spaceships to go into outerspace the winner will receive one million dollars. The spaceship has to go above the atmosphere. The spaceship that won was the Explorer. It looked like a regular plane, but it had rocket engines. Is NASA going to buy the space ship? On the explorer's first try didn't made out of the atmosphere, but it did in the second try.

My Revised Version

Have you heard the news a group of people designed a new and cool space ship called the Explorer? Well if you didn't you would want to hear this. The spaceship had two humongous engines. The first try was poor and sad it didn't make it out of the atmosphere The second try was awesome and excited the explorer made it out of the atmosphere. The designers were screaming on top of their lungs full of excitement! How did the people plan the winning space ship? The winning team participated in a cool event called the race for space. How would you feel if you won a million dollars?
