 This morning when I came to weblogging I knew that it was going to be a great day because we got off to a good start. First we went on our weblog and commented to the students at Georgia State. We wrote advice to them because they want to be  teachers. I liked what one girl wrote to me and her name was Laquimah Bush. She made me feel that my voice was also needed in college for student to become what they wanted. She had a great comment. I responded back to her comment she wrote to me. After that, we looked at our group weblog which is called “The Write Weblog”. After that we went to the GSU weblog which is called “Technology & Teachers”. Then we linked to the students of GSU blogs. Then we learned about blogging. We responded to a piece of their writing. At last we made hyperlinks from the URL’s .That is what we did today.

This is what Tiffani wrote:

I only was on the computer when I needed to be in high school. I never used any of my leisure time on it. Only when I had to do reports or I had to type was when I used the computer.

I like this piece of your writing because you tell the truth and not just making it up like most people do, for example most people say they love computers but they really can’t stand computers. I am just like you because I only use computers at school. I have a computer at home but I’m not obsessed to it like the only thing I do is on the computer. I am only on the computer when I’m bored. Great post, keeps up the good work.

Dear -Teacher-To-Be,

                       Hi how are you doing? Me, I'm fine. My name is Maria and I'm 12 years old. I'm in the 5^th grade. Mrs. Davis is my technology teacher, in other words, she is my computer teacher. If you're planning on being a teacher you could probably learn many things from her. She helps students to learn in different ways like this morning she told us to look at the dry erase board and imagine a mouse. What color it is. The mouse runs a track to get your mind and your body working.  She said that it helps you to get ready for the lesson; it’s like a warm up. It gets your brain warmed up to get in a learning mood. If you want to be a teacher, you need to have respect for your students like their family. If they need help then help then in a patient way. If you want them to respect you then you need to respect them. I learned that in 3rd grade because my teacher was nice to everyone in her class and all the students were nice to the teacher. It's also good to be the student’s friend, if they need you for something then help them in any way you can. Also you can show them extra ways to learn and show them shortcuts to different subjects if you know some shortcuts. My 5^th grade teacher is named Mrs. Mateling and she shows us many shortcuts and better ways for math. If you want to be a math teacher Mrs. Mateling can show you many ways. But I know that you probably don’t know Mrs.Mateling but you probably know some shortcuts because if you in college you’re a very smart person. I bet you can probably teach them things that you have learned from. I hope that you become a good teacher.

Did you hear about the Tsunami? If you didn't it was a very dramatic moment. I'm going to talk to you about the Tsunami. A Tsunami is an enormous sea wave produced by an underwater earthquake or volcanic eruption; produced by tidal waves; The Tsunami happened at the bottom of the

Indian Ocean.

The last earthquake was 40 years ago. The Tsunami was so powerful that it affects the countries around it. The Tsunami was also so powerful that it moved the earth's axis and it will take a fraction of the Earth's day away. Also the Earth is still vibrating from the powerful impact from the Tsunami. Those are some facts about the Tsunami. The Tsunami affected many people. It left the many people homeless. Many of the people lost their loved ones. Many people died and some people still can't be found. They buried the people who has died and been found to stop diseases. Many people stood in line for food. Many people got shots to stop disease. Those are some facts about the Tsunami  and how it  affected people.
