I strongly believe that 2nd – 5th should be able to blog. Right now there is only one class that gets to blog. This is bad because, other students might want to blog but can’t. They are probably reading our blogs and are sad.
Blogging helps students with there reading & writing. Some students are getting grades like C’s & F’s. The blogging will help pull them up and cause less people being held back. The commenter's can give them good post ideas. They can help & give them sequels to stories. Then there will be more blogging inspiration.
That is why I strongly believe that 2nd – 5th should be able to blog. It would improve the qualities of blogging in inspirational ways. I think people should listen to this and kids a chance to blog.
I think this is a well done post. I agree that some of the younger grades should be able to blog but there is problems that come with it keep up the good work.

Maybe you can be a blogging mentor to the younger grades. Do you know what a mentor is?

Hi Michael,
I agree with Mike!! This post is well done. I really like the reasons you give--that blogging will help with reading and writing.
I think that Mom has a great idea when she suggests your becoming a mentor to younger students! If you decided you wanted to do that, who do you think could help you?
Best,
Lani

Mom,
I know what mentor means it is a person who teaches children younger than themselves. Do you know a synonym to the word mentor?

Lani,
I think you and Mary could help me as mentors for younger students like my sister. Do you like my newest post(s)? , Michael

Let's see, a synonym for mentor can be counselor, teacher, or advisor. Can you think of any more?
