The end of our blogging year is near. Even though I never want to grow out of being a kid, I know I am going to. I hope next year I can blog. My blogs were good this year so I want another chance to impress people. I also do not want grow out of my kid things. I think I should be able to still blog & now kindergarten through college students. My sister says she wants a chance to shine like me. I think it is not fair that only 5th graders are allowed to blog. Does anyone else agree? Again I never want to grow up.
Hi Michael,
I truly understand your wanting to continue to blog and wonder if thinking about it in another way can help this really happen. What if you believe that endings are just beginnings--- Now you just need a way to find how to make that happen in your next classroom!
About not wanting to grow up-- don't you think lots of neat opportunities will be around as you grow up?
Best,
Lani

Hi Michael,
It's so pleasant to read your post.It makes me think to the feeling I sometimes have to return to my childhood.Childhood has something pure and joyful. We share cheerful moments with our friends. We visit our grand-parents.We enjoy being taken care of.Then,we start growing up.Things start changing. We have to take of ourselves;be more and more responsible, more work, less time to play, etc.Isn't what's scaring in all this? But,how do we feel if we sow a seed that is not growing at all?Doesn't growing up have some advantages?Maybe,we need to think over these questions?
As for the question of blogging,I think that we can blog as far as there is an appropriate organization in place and it is purposeful. We don't blog just for the sake of blogging.Everything has or needs to have a purpose. In addition,it's written in a Great Book of Wisdom:"Everything has a time."
