My Farewell Goodbyes!

  Dear 6th grade teacher,

Hi! My name is Lindsey. I love Math, Spelling,and Social Studies. I am kind of nervous but then I am not. I am also excited about going to sixth grade. I have some questions that I would like to ask but did not get to ask when I was there. What happens when kids cheat on a test? Are we allowed to wear flip flops, high heels?  I hope we will have a great year in middle school.  I will be on my best behavior.

On computers!!

We have used Gizmo that let us link to a class in Canada. We were linked to Mr.K's class and we asked them questions and they answered.It was really cool to talk to someone who is so far away on a computer. Have you ever tried talking to a person so far away or close by? Would you ever like to try it? If you have tried it what have you asked them relating to writing/blogging?

Blogging is coming to an end

When I first heard that we were going to be in blogging I was so happy. Then I was told the rules of what we were going to do and have. Then we were assigned to go to the classes on Tuesday. On Tuesday when we went we were so proud of our parents for signing the papers, because we were having a great time learning what we were doing on computers and looking at other people’s blog. I am so glad that I joined blogging.

       

     I have had a wonderful time in blogging. We have done a lot of things this year in blogging. I love when I get comments. I also love the fun experiences we do, and the homework we have to make our blogs better.

We have got so much support from our teachers. They have done the best they can to help us. The teachers have given the best advice to give people or put on our post. They are like a bell ringing in our heads giving us our support we need.

I am so glad that I am a fifth grade because I got to do blogging. It is a wonderful experience. I love this helpful program because I get to know how to use the computer more then I use to. I am happy that school is all most out!!! Schools Out YEA!!!!!!!!

FRIENDSHIP!!!!!!!

WoW, your spring break sounds really fun. I love going to Florida for a vacation, too. Maybe I'll get to go this summer. What else did you do over spring break?

Mrs. A's comments really means  something to me because she is such a great teacher and she just had a cute baby. She has been so nice to me this year in fifth grade! I am so glad I have such a supportive teacher like Mrs. A. This has been such a hardworking year since I have been in school!

I have to say a quick thank you to Mrs. A for being such a wonderful teacher! I am so glad I am in fifth grade!

What inspires you the most?

I am going to tell you what I am learning about in school!

I have learned specifically about what is mostly on the CRCT, and do not forget I am in 5th grade! I am trying my best to work and do what I can to pass the CRCT. Everybody in my class wants o pass to go on to the next grade, which will be 6th grade!!!!

In Math I am learning about division, addition,subtraction, and multiplication. All of the 5th grade teachers are doing this thing where you have to pass all of your times tables! What you have to do is you have to pass 4 division, multiplication,addition, and subtraction times tables! So that would be 4 times 4 =16. So that would be how much we would have to pass! Do you think it is alot? I do not think it is alot.

Well you know what I learn about. What do you learn about in school, it could be about Math, Reading, Language,Spelling,Science, and Social Studies?

Spring Break!!

I am in 5th grade and we have springbreak this week. I am going somwhere with my aunt. Here I am going to let it out...... Florida.  We are going to stay for the whole week and I am going to see my uncle. We will be by the pool not the beach, but that is fine with me, I hate the beach. I will probably be at the pool most of the time, all day all night, except breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

There is two favorite things about going to Florida, here is one.  Usually when we go out to eat, we go to a tiki bar. A tiki bar is a place where you can get food and drinks. We also might go to a seafood or chinese resturanut. Which I hate seafood, I always get chicken and fries. I sometimes get a sandwich and fries if they have it. I never say no to food unless I hate it.

My second favorite thing about florida is the pool. It is so relaxing. I love doing tricks in the pool. My favorite trick that I do in the pool is a handstand. I also do back and front flips. When I arrive at the pool after breakfast I get on the diving board and dive in the pool. It is so fun. I am glad that we have spring break this week!

I also love getting a tan. My cousin and I lay out in the sun and we get a tan. Sometimes we fall asleep and get burnt and that hurts really bad. The reason we like getting tans is because we really look beautiful.

I am going to have so much fun for spring break and I hope you will too.

What are you doing for spring break?

My Passion!!!

I am  passionate about friends. They are friendly and helpful, if  I am stuck on a problem they stop by an d help. When we are at school and we have p.e. we play and talk. When we are at lunch we talk and eat. We act like sisters the way we are close,and how we talk and what we talk about. I love having friends they are like a charm to me. I have specail friends,crazy friends, and funny friends. We have a wonderful friendship, and i hope it lasts.

What Should I Do?

At the end of the year our blogging class might sing or write a peom about how bogging has been,and how much we have learned, and the experiences of what we have done.

To do that, I would first pick a song to sing to and if i were to pick the poem I would write my thoughts on a sheet of paper and then I would put it in a poem. If  I was to pick a poem then I would rhymn words and then i would put in sequence form. Then I would find a beat.
