She came from florida, and she is only staying 5 days. Jonatan is very cute and sweet. When he first got home, he cried alot. My sister calls him Cookie. I really don't know why though. Any ways I'm Very happy that I get to see my sister. Even though is a little while.

Dear Rosalinda,
How very exciting! It sounds like you had TWO wonderful things come your way - a visit from your sister and a chance to be with your nephew Jonathon! A nephew is what you call your brother or sister's son. A niece is what you call your your brother or sister's daughter. So, you would say that Jonathon is your nephew (pronounced like "nefew"). The "ph" makes the "f" sound.
One of the people who commented on your post mentioned that you misspelled a word. Rosalinda, do not let this get you down. I do the same thing when I am excited about what I am typing. In fact, I have to go back and check my spelling and grammar several times whenever I post a comment on your class' Blogical Minds blogging site. Maybe you could try this. Type just as fast and excitedly as you would like the first time. Then, before actually posting, you could go back and read slowly out-loud what you have typed. If something does not sound right or does not make sense, you could then fix it. Or, if you are not sure about the spelling of a word, you could look it up in the dictionary, ask your teacher, or even go to Google and search for the correct spelling. Whatever you do, do not let someone who tells you about your mistakes make you stop blogging or writing!

Rosalinda,
I am sure you are so excited about your sister being in town! Do you get to see her often? I have two sisters. One of them lives in California, so I don't get to see her often. She lives in a small town called Davis. It's about an hour north of San Francisco. Have you ever visited California? When I went to visit her I loved seeing the seals on Fisherman's Warf.
I hope you enjoy this time with your family! One of my favorite things in the world is to be with family. Have a wonderful time with them!

Literacy in ECE,
I don't see my sister often. That makes me really sad. She lives all the way to Florida. She just came here for a 5 day visit.

Hi Rosalinda,
I really like how excited and positive you are; the visit may be short but you don't let that get in the way of all the fun and happiness. What a wonderful attitude!
What was the very best time of the visit?
Best,
Lani

Hi Lani,
I think the best part of the visit was to see my nephew for the second time sence he was born. I I also was very happy to see my sister and her husband. That was just a wounderful week.
Love,
Rosalinda
