I am honest and playful
I wonder if I will have children
I hear the angels blow their trumpets
I want to go to heaven
I am honest and playful
I pretend to fly
I feel the lord’s hands in mine
I touch fire of the horizon
I worry about our world in the future
I cry for my Aunt Mallisa
I am honest and playful
I understand my personality
I say I will make the world a better place
I dream that the lord will come for my soul
I try my best to get good grades
I hope my parents live to see my children
I am honest and playful
This was a great blog. You use a lot of vivid descriptions in your poem that I like. I can tell that you are a hard worker and care about making the world a better place to live. Are there any specific causes that you feel need are most in need of change? Keep up the good work with school and good luck with your blog. You are doing a great job so far!

Eddy,
You are a really good poet!
When I read, "I feel the lord's hand in mine / I touch fire of the horizon," I just had to say, "Wow!" That's pretty inspiring. You say that you worry about the world in the future, and then you say that you will make the world a better place. I know that the world WILL be a better place when young people like you fulfill your dreams and help to make it that way.

Eddie,
Wow. Your poem was incredible and I hope that you will keep on writing. The descriptions were great and your imagery was so powerful-- especially when you said, "I pretend I can fly / I feel the Lord's hands in mine." It is so wonderful that you have these dreams and I want you to never forget them or give them up. You are truly inspirational and I feel lucky to have read your blog. Have faith in your future and know that you have a lot to offer and that the world is a better place because of people like you.

Eddie, your poem was very powerful! The word choice was excellent and it was engaging. My favorite line is the one that states, "I feel the lord’s hands in mine." I am so delighted to have read this and witness your positive spirit. Continue to express yourself in this way and dream of all these great things. :)
