Hi Eddie,

I agree!! Our life is dependent on technology alot!!!! And I can relate to your contrasting yesterday and today. I used to say I was a teacher B.C. Do you know what I meant? I meant before computers, so that meant I was teaching a long time ago.

Technology can help eyesight for many people, you are right! I wonder can it help people learn? It has helped me learn alot about how our government operates. I wonder has technology helped you learn??

Best,
Lani

Lani,

Thanks Lani for posting on my web log Lani and just remember almost everything we use is associated with technology

Michelle

Eddie,
You are totally right about technology being such an important part of our lives. I can't even imagine the world today without technology because we have become so reliable on it. I also like how you contrast the world before and after technology. It is definitely something to think about and be thankful for. Just think--without technology we would not be writing to each other or even know that each other exists.

Delbert

I agree with you that the world is very fortunate to have the conveniences of technology. I was watching this morning on TV a story about the first email message and what it was like before the Internet and how the Internet is now considered one of the 7 Wonders of The World. Students today have such much at their fingertips. Things that are now taken for granted were considered luxury items just 15 or 20 years ago. Technology is to the world today what cars were a century ago.

Eddie, I agree. We do live in a very special time and are fortunate to be able to use all of this technology. In fact, it seems like we live in a world that is so dependent on technology that we can’t imagine living without it. I wonder, if you were stranded on a desert island, what one piece of technology would you want to take with you? For me, I would want to have my iPod. I can't imagine not being able to have my music with me!
