Mr. Kuropatwa's blog

                I've been on Mr. Kuropatwa's blog and saw his class blog full of many smart high school students. Mr. Kuropatwa teaches math in Canada. Their class even knows what Pi and Phi is. I don't even Know what the equivalent of Pi or Phi is but it is exiting to know that I will be learning it in high school. They've even learned trigonometry and I don't know what it is.

                They also have smartboards that they do math on just like us. A smart board is a board that has a computer built into it. They use dull pens to write on it but the pens don't have ink in them. They even know some secret mathematical signs. The stuff that his student's learn make me want to learn more. I cant wait to get in high school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy.

       

My First Dog Muffin

               My first dog was named muffin and here is how we discovered him. When my mom and dad were having their wedding a dog walked into the church. So we decided to keep him but we didn't know what to name him. Then that day when I was hungry I thought I might get a muffin. So when I got my muffin some of it fell on the floor. Then our dog came and ate it then he started jumping for the muffin. So I called my parents into the room and they said why dont we name him muffin.

                Once we had him for a year he sterted running out in the woods but he would always come back. He even developed a liking for our cats.(that's very unusual) Another thing was he always liked was fried chicken. One of his favorite sports was frisbee and soccer. I was the one who always took him for his daily walks.

                  It was on that day that one tragic day that he had an acident. I didn't know that would be his last day but it was. It started when we were playing frisbee it went into the woods acidentaly. He ran down into the woods and I waited for a minute. Then I heard a truck beep but I thought it was nothing but indeed it was something. So I called my brother outside to check it out. When he came back he came back with bad news. Muffin was ........... DEAD.

Music & Dance With Your Backgrond

              I believe that we should have a music and dance program. We should learn about musicals and dances from other continents. For example we should have dance like Middle Eastern,Latino,salsa.break dance,etc. This is something I feel strongly about and here is why. 

               Firstly music helps different people clear their minds. Stress clouds you thinking and can cause a raise in blood pressure and music can help release that stress. It also helps you think allot better (The principal would like that). Studies show that most children that listen to soothing music has better grades and self control.

                Secondly dancing gives you exercise and is an athletic activity. Dancing is a fun way to fight off obesity. Now the food and health departments are trying to stop obesity because they are losing money. Right now over 12 million children are suffering from childhood obesity. We need to protect our Generation and keep it healthy.

                 Lastly It opens our minds to new thing and it teaches us about our background connections to dancing . Music and dance tells a story in it's self of what your ancestors did. I think it is something that our ancestors left behind for us to learn.

                 It's what you think that counts but this is what I think. Is there something interesting that you want to share about your heritage or ancestral background.
