I've been on Mr. Kuropatwa's blog and saw his class blog full of many smart high school students. Mr. Kuropatwa teaches math in Canada. Their class even knows what Pi and Phi is. I don't even Know what the equivalent of Pi or Phi is but it is exiting to know that I will be learning it in high school. They've even learned trigonometry and I don't know what it is.
They also have smartboards that they do math on just like us. A smart board is a board that has a computer built into it. They use dull pens to write on it but the pens don't have ink in them. They even know some secret mathematical signs. The stuff that his student's learn make me want to learn more. I cant wait to get in high school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy.
Hi Eddie,
You are absolutely right! Mr. K's students are pretty smart. You can learn lots from the scribes they write, can't you? I really feel like I'm right there in class with them sometimes.
You know, I think it would be pretty exciting to read scribes of your blogging class! Would you be interested in scribing for your blogging class? I know you'd do a great job and I could learn from you too!
Best,
Lani
PS Your excitement for learning is contagious!!!

Lani,
I do have a thirst for knowledge that is never quinched. I really think that many people would be able to learn from me. My parents always told me be a leader and not a follower. They also encouraged me to read and now i'm on a 10th grade reading level and I learned how to read when I was 3 and a half. I'll see you later. Bye

Hi Eddie,
I am so proud of you. You are on a blogging roll and posting at home. They are very good posts. Keep selecting good topics that will engage people and help them learn. Have you been considering being a scribe for our group? I can't wait to see you and the group tomorrow!

Good Morning Eddie,
There are many exciting things to learn in math, reading, science and social studies.
In fact, we are never done learning! Learning in content areas like math can be integrated with our use of technology -- like the smartboards you mentioned.
Keep on learning--and soon you will learn all about pi.

I would consider being a scribe for our class but I dont think that we can have those things until we get like in middle school. Also I will keep selecting topics to engage others andto help tham learn. Unfortunately I could not make it because I had a virus.

hi Eddie,
I must say you are quite the intelligent young grade five student. I am in Mr. Kuropatwa's class and he told us all about you and your blog. You are very smart. I think you are smarter than me! You read at a grade ten reading level? That's amazing. You use really big words in your blogs and write in paragraph form. Incredible. You're inspiring. =) I hope you have fun with your blog and math as you continue to learn it in the many years of education you have left.

Aichelle,
I don't really think that I am smarter than you. You know things that I don't like Pi and Phi. I really want to know those things that you know although it might be boring because If I have children then I will teach them. I really like school although you might not. When I was in first grade I got skipped and in all my other grades they asked me to get skipped, but my parents said no because in 2nd-5th you learn the most important stuff to prepare you for middle school. I'm going to do a report on the prehistoric marsupials that were in Australia.

Micheal,
I do want to learn all about Pi and Phi. Soon I will be about Pi and Phi. I always make A's in school. I was even asked to get skipped in every grade and now i'm on a high school reading level. Like you said most things involve math. Just remember that 2+2=4 in any language

Eddie, I loved hearing the podcast today from Mr. K's class. Isn't it amazing how blogging can connect us to students from various parts of the world and different ages. It shows we can really learn from anything. I would love to hear you interact more with Mr. K or other classes!

Good evening Eddie,
My name is Melissa and I am in Mr.K's grade 12 precal class.
Today in class Mr.K played your podcast. For me hearing 'Eddie's voice" seemed to make you come alive for me. I don't know if that makes sense and all but I just wanted to say that your zeal to learn had rubbed off on me. Eddie you have a gift to inspire, and that's what you've given me. I would have never thought that someone so far could have such a positive and powerful impact on me. Thanks again,
Melissa.

Hello Eddie,
Thanks for replying back to my comment. That's amazing that you got skipped a grade! You're very bright. I heard the podcasts you made and it was delightful to hear your voice because it was filled with such excitement. As my peers and I were listening to the podcasts we were just in awe at how big an impact blogging can make. You said my name in the podcast =) haha. I was so excited when I heard that and so were my fellow classmates. We were smiling the whole time we listened to that and happy to know that our blog is really making a difference. Keep up the good work, Eddie.

Hello again Eddie,
I think our whole class really enjoyed the podcasts you made. I am quite glad that you are showing what a useful tool this is to higher powers (that could be considered a lame math pun). They are the ones that can let the masses know about the great tool that is blogging.
Hope your super intendant sees the usefulness of this.
