Is there something you are passionate about well? I am passionate about music it makes you feel so alive. But not just any music a instrument a electric Gautier. Playing the Gautier is really awesome you can play soft, beach, or heavy metal rock. They are all great but my favorite is soft rock because you can play 2 cord 3 cord or 8945 cord it is the best. But before you start you need to feel passionate about it. Because it is hard work to memories all the cords not to mean time lessons ,or you could teach your self like I did. Teaching your self is really hard because you have to make your own time out of your life. If you do want to take lessons you have to pay and make sure you don't have a busy life. Because it takes a long time and you have to have Patience. But if you are patience about it and you can play. What a reward it can be in fact I have a band and the Gautier is the melody and the drums keep the beat.
Dear Johnny,
I am a university student and an English teacher and I really enjoyed reading your blog.
I think it’s wonderful that you are passionate about playing the guitar and that you are in a band! I am passionate about music too as well as travel. Last year I visited a part of the world called Central Asia and, in the countries there, they have a lot of amazing instruments and music –especially string instruments.
I found a great link to a blog that has pictures of the musicians and their instruments:

I also think it’s amazing that you are teaching yourself to play the guitar. I taught myself how to paint when I was your age and then later took some classes to improve. Because I had started on my own, I learned a lot of things through trial and error. I think this made me a stronger painter. Do you also feel that there are special advantages to teaching yourself?
Thank you very much for reading my letter!
Sincerely,
Lori : )
Ps
Maybe you should make a podcast one day that includes your playing and information about how you taught yourself!

Hi Jhonny,
You really are passionate about music! It comes through when you describe all you do with music and your guitar. I agree hard work comes with passion but don't you feel great when you look at all you accomplish?
One question: I wonder if you might want to check the spelling of guitar. Shouldn't a man such as yourself with such a passion for his instrument spell it correctly?
Best,
Lani

Hi Johnny,
Now you've asked quite a question in my book!
First, absolutely your talent for playing your guitar is most important!
I think I was thinking on down the road, when perhaps you might want to market your musical skill or your band. As an agent or company, I'd expect you to submit some kind of paperwork that would tell me about you. The instruments you play would be high on my list. Don't you think that spelling guitar correctly might be awfully important then, especially in terms of possible income for you?
If you get mixed up trying to spell it, what about making a story or saying to help you remember? Something like: Gee Quit ain't right? Do you see what I did?
Best,
Lani

Johnny,
I love that you play the guitar. I learned to play when I was in the fifth grade. I had so much fun at my lesson but then I would never practice! You must be very talented to have taught yourself to play. Have you tried to write any of your own music? If you write poems in class you might try to use one as the lyrics, and then your band can write the music. Have you found that playing music has helped to make you more creative in other areas of your life? Has it helped you with math?
