"I Am" Poem

I am trustworthy and polite   

I wonder what my future will hold

I hear Santa’s bells jingling

I see a penguin in my room

I want to be a veterinarian

I am trustworthy and polite

I pretend I am the ruler of the world

I feel Bigfoot’s hairy feet

I touch the buggy man’s cold hands

I worry about the poor

I cry for my grandfather (paw-paw)

I am trustworthy and polite

I under stand what people go through

I say Jesus loves us

I dream I hover in my house

I try to get out standing grades

I hope the whole world would believe in God

I am trustworthy and kind

I loved your poem and I feel that we have a lot in common. I also love to dream and value the same things that you do. Your descriptions and images are great and they seem to take you to so many wonderful places. But, at the same time, you are also very grounded. You know what is most important in life, you value other people being able to trust you, and wish the best for other people. You seem so caring and compassionate and I know that your future will be bright and filled with love and happiness. You are the type of person that people want to be around.
