The other day I was browsing through Lani's weblog. I found this post and I was amazed. Lani was wondering what the weather was like where we live. You can see that the snow is really deep where she lives. Lani asked many questions about the picture you see to the left of you. Some of the question that she ask are listed below.
- 1. Do you think I had cleared the driveway once already? How can you tell?
2. Does the tree with all the snow paint a picture of something else? What?
3. What one word might you use to describe this picture?
I think I know the answer to the questions. I think the first question is yes because you can see the markings in the snow. The second question I would have to say that the snow on the tree paints a picture of a mother elephant and a baby elephant. The answer to the third question would have to be that the picture looks cold. I would say that because all the snow that's in Lani's yard makes it look like it's cold!
What do you think the answers are to Lani's questions? What's the weather like where you live?
I'll catch you later,
Victoria
Before I forget here's the address to Lani's blog if you want to check it out sometime,

Hi Lani,
I'm glad you got a chance to comment on my post. I was very anxious to see what you had to say about it! I'm sorry I forgot to answer one of your guestions, so I'll answer it know! Our weather in Georgia is cold, but it hasn't snowed yet. I don't think it will snow ether. Chatch you later,
Victoria
P.S. Has it snowed anymore where you live? If it did how many more inches did it snow

Hi Victoria!
Wow! The picture above reminds me of where I live. It is really cold in Snow Lake, MB and the temperatures this week went plunging down to -40 degrees celcius and lower! There is also a ton of snow here and I'm not enjoying it at all! Anyways, my answers to the questions above would be:
1. Yes, I think you did clear the driveway before because there is a lot of snow in the picture and if you hadn't then your vehicle(s) would get stuck in the snow.
2. I would have to agree with Victoria and say that the tree with the snow looks like a Mama Elephant with her Baby Elephant.
3. The one word I would use to describe this picture would be beautiful. I think that when snow falls and covers everything in a white blanket it makes people stop to look at it and appreciate how beautiful everything really is.
Victoria, how is the weather where you live? Do you get lots of snow there? Are the summers there hot? What temperature is it usually in the winters there?

Victoria,
I agree with you that the driveway has been cleared. I think this because of the tracks in the driveway and the snow in the yard is higher than the snow in the driveway. I also think the snow in the tree looks like a big, fluffy, white elephant! However, I do not see the baby elephant that you see. Where is it? I would describe this picture as beautiful. I love the snow (I think). Unfortunately, I live in the south which means it pretty much just stays warm all winter. There are not too many days we can wear sweaters here. What about where you live?

Anna,
The weather where I live is a kind of cold right now! But we didn’t get any snow this year. When it’s summer though it’s very hot here. And I would say the temperature in winter here, is around 30° F to 50° F. About how deep is the snow where you live?
See Ya Later,
Victoria

Dustin,
Actually we didn’t get any snow here. That picture was a picture of Lani’s house, not mine. Do you get snow every year where you live? And Do you still have school when there lots of snow?
