I was really disappointed that we were not able to contact Mr. Fisher and his class! "Cause we really wanted to talk to them and tell them how much we appreciated them taking all that time to respond to our questions! But anyways, I really liked Ashley H.'s responses to our question! And here's what I had to say to her!
Ashley H.,
Hi! I just read your post on your blog called “Blog Questions and Answers”. And I just wanted to say thanks for answering some of the questions we asked you! That really makes me excited to know that you really took the time to answer our questions! And I couldn't’t agree more with your answers. And now that you have answered our questions I can improve on the posts I make in my blog. And some other things that I do to help me with my writing in blogging are listed below.
1.) I ask a friend to give me advice on what I should write about!
2.) And other times I might just think about a topic I know well!
3.) I would check over my work and see if I like how I have it!
4.) Or I ask someone to read over my writing and see if it makes since!
5.) Then the fifth and final thing I do is read it out loud to another person!
What else do you think I can do to improve my blog? Oh, one more thing I wanted to say! Here's Ashley H."s blog address http://ashley00.learnerblogs.org/2007/04/05/blogging-questions-and-answers/
Catch Ya Later,
Victoria
Hi Victoria,
This is an excellent post. I really enjoyed reading it. You are a good thinker and I just want you to know that I am proud of you. You are becoming quite a good blogger! Have you thought about writing a poem about blogging? I think that would be fantastic. What do you think?

Hi Victoria,
I know that not being able to skype was "the pits" but your writing is so very good I can hear you as I read. (almost as good as being there or skyping)
Do you organize what you want to say as you write or do you brainstorm and jot down ideas first?
Best,
Lani

Catch ya later,

Lani,
I actually organize my writing in my head as I write it out! What do you do? How was your Easter? And what did you do Easter Sunday?
Catch you later,
Victoria

Hi Victoria,
I like your list of ways to make your posts better. What struck me most about your list are revision and involvement of others in finalizing a post draft. I think it is very important that we get others' feedback on our posts since blogging is a way of communication. If the posts are not meaningful or accessible, for example, to our audience, it is very unlikely that what we post will be read.
I am very pleased to have seen your list; it makes me think of my own posts. I will follow your guidelines to make my posts more readable and interesting, because I really want to have a network of individuals visiting my blog.
I was recently thinking of putting a short online survey on my blog asking the visitors to drop a few lines of feedback, such as if they like the layout of the blog, if they like the posts, what could be done to make the blog better, etc.
I don't know if you have thought of this, but it may be worth trying. I will let you know when I finally get it set up on my blog.
Thanks for your ideas; I have learned a lot.

Hi Victoria,
You are far ahead of me when you "organize my writing in my head as I write it out". Sometimes I jot down ideas, I compose them into paragraphs and then I organize them. Other times I use Inspiration and create an organizer before I begin to write.
Easter was lovely, thank you for asking. We had 32 inches of snow for a very white one. The kids had their egg hunt on the Square in boots, hats and mittens, having to dig in the snow to find the eggs!
Spring has sprung here! The birds are singing and the tulips are in bloom. What is the end of April like in your neck of the woods?
Best,
Lani

Hi Victoria=)
Thanks for the blog post on me! Anyways, I think that you do a great job on your blog post. Now that you have learned a lot about blogs, you can go look at your old blog posts and see what you have changed about them. When I do that I laugh at how big of mistakes I made, but you are doing a great job. I enjoy helping people out on blogging, not only do you get to teach things, you also get to learn new things. I find that blogging is one of the most exciting things I learned this year, and thanks to you and your class, you have made it all the better!
Keep up the great blogging work!

Hi. This is Derek, from Ashley. H's class. I hope you don't mind if I post you a comment.
I was also disappointed when we couldn't talk to you guys. I really wanted to help you guys and answer your questions. Well, I guess this was another way of answering your questions.
I think that checking on your blog post is very important. If you don't, you might not be happy with what you have. I sometimes have trouble with this. For example, I realized that I made a spelling error a few days after my post was finished. I had to go back there and edit my post. This really irritated me.
Well, I guess that's it. I hope you learned lots!

Ashley H.
I'm glad I made you feel happy about me making that post all about you. That's one of the reasons I did this post.
Gotta Go,
Victoria
P.S. What's a recent post you've made?

Omar,
I think it would be a great idea to put a short online survey on your blog!
How would you make the survey chart?
Bye,
Victoria
