Will You Protect Georgia From Environmental Distruction?

          I strongly believe that people should save our environment in Georgia. In other words, I think we should stop cutting down trees. There's three reasons why I  this is so important to me!

          The first reason we should save our environment in Georgia is because tons of animals would lose their homes. For example, if someone comes and cuts down many trees. All the animals that lived there would die because they don't have shelter to protect them. That would cause a chain effect too! The other animals that use to get their food from the forest would eventually get hungry. That would cause those animals to attack nearby people because they're so hungry. And that's not good!

          The second reason we should save our environment in Georgia is because trees create oxygen. Trees also breath in carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is not healthy for any living animals/ humans to breath in. There for, we won't get as sick as we would without trees.

To Much Snow!

The other day I was browsing through Lani's weblog. I found this post and I was amazed. Lani was wondering what the weather was like where we live. You can see that the snow is really deep where she lives. Lani asked many questions about the picture you see to the left of you. Some of the question that she ask are listed below.

1. 1. Do you think I had cleared the driveway once already?  How can you tell?

2. Does the tree with all the snow paint a picture of something else? What?

3. What one word might you use to describe this picture?

          I think I know the answer to the questions. I think the first question is yes because you can see the markings in the snow. The second question I would have to say that the snow on the tree paints a picture of a mother elephant and a baby elephant. The answer to the third question would have to be that the picture looks cold. I would say that because all the snow that's in Lani's yard makes it look like it's cold!

My Spicy Idioms

In blogging me and my class wanted to spice up our blogs so we're using idioms!

1.  When we write in blogging some people are a penny- wise and a pound foolish                                   

meaning- careful in small matters but careless about important things

2. Sometimes it takes two to tango in blogging.

meaning- two people are required to accomplish this deed

3. Most of the students in blogging leave no stones unturned!

meaning- to put forth all efforts to carry out a task

4. A couple of my friends are quick on the draw when it comes to blogging.

meaning- ready, alert, and quick to respond and react

5. I get shot in the arm when I'm blogging.

meaning- something that lifts your spirit

Melting Down the Ice

      I was just reading and listening to a story called Polar Bears . I found this very interesting

ting topic/ information on http://tecka.learnerblogs.org/ Kate  Kate has her on blog just like me. She is a very good writer, so if you have a chance, check  out her blog!

    Kate caught my attention that polar bears are in danger. The ice in Antarctica is melting. If the the ice keeps on melting then the polar bears will drowned and become extinct. I like her post so much because I love animals and I won't to help them in any way I can.

My Thanks to All of You

        Thank you all for what you have said about my writing. When I didn't feel like writing I thought about all of the sincere post I would recive from you! All of your post cheer me up when I am sad. The post keep me going  and writing more posts.

          A person that has been their sence the begining and end is Chris. She might not know this but I always look forword to what she has to say about my writing. She also always has interesting things to read about. For Example "Just down the glen from where I took this photo there is a small church. It is cold and damp, but very silent and lovely among the trees. So you see your story catches some of the reality behind this picture - well done!" A Whole New World Found By A Girl

    I have changed up the story and fixed my mistakes! So read my story since I have fixed the errors!

               All she saw was a lake and a enormous forest surrounding it. There were also flowers every where. The lake was so blue that it matched Hailey’s eyes. She was in the middle of no where. She was very interested in the lake so she went swimming. The water was soothing, and her blond hair shined when the sun hit it. After she got out she went walking through the forest. The animals greeted her as she passed them. After that she and picked flowers for her mom. When the moon came out, she though she should get home so she went back to the church. Her only problem was that the vase was broken. If the vase was broken she could never go back home!
         

              Just as she started to cry she remembered that there was a vase just like that one in the office. So she ran to the office and got it. She put the new flowers in it and placed it on the podium. The ground shoock, but the vase didn't fall. Afterwards she ran outside and she was in her home town again. The weird thing was time never past; it was like she never went to the forest. Hailey walked home but she never told anyone about that place and she never went back.

The Shoking Results

   On my last post I had a good bit of mistakes that  I didn't notice. Even when I reread  my post I didn't see my erors. But when I listend to the pod cast one of my teachers had made, I felt so embaranced. The whole world was able to see all of my mistakes. I keep thinking " Why didn't I catch my mistakes before ." But I know that every one makes erors. From now on I  will make shure that I read my writing out loud before i publish it.  Or I can get a friend to read it out loud to me. That way I will probably catch all of my erors. Do you have another way I could catch my mistakes? By the way I'll probably fix my mistakes.

Up! Goes Our Population

    The Genus Bureau's Population Clock hit the number 300,000,000 at 7:46 am in October    2006. That's why we're welcoming a new and famous baby into our world.  A certain baby was the 300,000,000 human that is in the U.S.  The U.S. is the 3rd country that has the most population of people in the world. Our population in the  U.S.  has grown so much in the couple of years. Can you belive that there are more than 3 million people just in the United States of America? Do you think it is a good thing that our population is growing so fast? Why or why not?

What Is Our Main Resources?

            We have three main resource. They are Natural Resources, Capital Resources, and Human Resources. Let me tell you a little about them and give you some examples of them.

Natural Resources are the things that come from nature. They are things that were here when mankind started. Natural Resources are used to make goods and service. If we didn't have them our population would never grow and strive, in fact we wouldn't even be alive. * Examples~ Trees,Flowers, and water

            Capital Resources are things that are made by people . They are the things that are the opposite of natural resources. If humans weren't here than there wouldn't be any Capital Resources. Capital Resource are used to make goods and services. * Examples~ Shoes, Computers, and Books                                                

          Human Resources are people with skills and knowledge, in other words people who are really smart or who are good at doing specific things. If there wasn't any humans then there wouldn't be any Human Resources. Human Resources are used to make goods and services. * Examples Teachers, Bankers,and  Counselors

I learned all of this in Social Studies But this is only a portion of what I learned. This might be boring to you but we had to learn this and pass a test on resources in school. I hope you thought this was interesting and if you have tips for me or you just want to have a conversation please blog me! Oh and have you learned this in school?
