I think we should have P.E. every single day because it will get people's mornings going. Also it will really let kids be in the healthier side And it will let kids express themselves.
The first reason I believe we should have P.E. everyday is.... It will be a great exercise. Everyday a new exercise and activity could be done. Some news reporters say that people and mostly kids are getting fatter and they are overweight. So to stop that I think we should have P.E. every day.
The second reason is by exercising everyday and making goals for ourselves. This will bring our grades up. How willl people pull up their grades? Well, when people are getting fat or overweight people don't concentrate in school work and the grades will go down. So if people exercise they will set goals for themselves and people won't be so worried that they are becoming overweight because they will be exercising every day.
My last reason is people will have more confidence in themselves that they might join in more sports and activities. Then people won't have to worry if they are too slow, too fat, too skinny, or not healthy. Also when people look good they feel good.
Those are all my reasons why I think we should have P.E. everyday.
Hey Mia, this is Toni and I am a student in Mr. Fishers class. I think that you made some interesting points in this post, I agree that having gym every day will improve kids health. Keep posting!

Definitely agree that P.E. is important for people's healthiness and kids too. I get that same feeling when I see somebody just sitting there doing nothing except watch TV. But now I feel much better because now I know that I'm not the only one who cares about that. Thanks for bloging and see you later!

Mia,
Your post is relevant because obesity is a serious issue. As you stated in your post “some news reporters say that people and mostly kids are getting fatter and they are overweight.” Not only are reporters saying it, but doctors and teachers as well. As we look on the television we see more commercial concerning juvenile diabetes and other diseases. Therefore, I agree with you; students should have physical education (PE) everyday. This will help students learn how to play together, learn to take care of their bodies, love to be physical, and not rely on video games as a pastime. Students are not getting the exercise they need or the physical education that schools are supposed to provide. If you could interview anyone about this issue who would you interview and why?

Hi Lani,
We have P.E. once a week, every Wendsday for an hour.On Wendsaday after school me,Johnny,Emmy, and Victoria go to a club called "Curtain Club. It's where we do drama and sing songs. Now in curtain club we are practicing for a porformence. The musical is called "Light in up." The actual porformence is in May 1st at 7:00 p.m. Before I go I would like to say that I said something that was imposible. It is.....I was thinking about inviting you to the performance but then I thought wait Lani lives in Ohio. She wouldn't travel to see only one performance. I told the teacher and she cracked up with laughter.
P.s. We might send you a tape of the play.

Virtuous,
I would interview a person. Why? Because I would love to know about thier opionings and what they think about obesity. I am going to tell the teacher if I can interview a person and then I will tell you.

Mia,
I agree with you that P.E. should be every day. When people exercise daily it becomes a habit and they will probably do it for the rest of their lives. Plus, P.E. is fun. I used to love red light, green light. What sorts of sports and games do you play? What other ways can kids become more healthy?

Mia, you have some very good points here! It is so sad that kids are struggling with their weight simply because they aren't exercising. I have a strong opinion about this subject. It seems that TV and video games can really be an enemy to kids and their health. Sitting on the couch in front of the TV has become much more popular than going outside and riding a bike or kicking a soccer ball. P.E. at school is some of the only exercise kids get now. This goes along perfectly with your idea of having P.E. every day. Also, you mentioned students not being able to concentrate in school because they are distracted or depressed by their weight. Very true! Did you also know that it is proven research that exercising and getting the blood pumping helps greatly with concentration in school and self esteem? What are some of your favorite activities in P.E.? Do you have any new ideas that would make P.E. even more fun and healthy?

Hi Mia,
It's rosalinda! I just wanted to say that you are right. I sometimes find myself sitting in the couch watching t.v. I do think it is really important to have P.E. But not everyday! I think we should have a break ance in a while.
