I am unique and useful
I wonder about my future
I hear my moms voice
I see the ocean
I want it to be christmas
I am unique and useful
I pretend I am my sister
I feel my brothers saddness
I touch the air above me
I worry about my younger life
I cry when I remember
I am unique and useful
I understand the world
I say diffrent things
I dream about angels
I try to be perfect
I hope people belive me
I am unique and useful
Leslie,
What a wonderful and thoughtful poem. You seem like such an extraordinary girl and I am sure that your mother is very proud of you. You also seem to have some sadness in your life and I want you to know that things always get better and work out the way they are supposed to. I believe that if you just keep trying your best, keep believing, and keep dreaming about angels then your future will certainly be bright. I also want you to know this: when you believe in yourself then other people will believe in you.

I love the way you repeated the line "I am unique and useful." In a world of over 8 billion people it is hard some times to remember that people are unique and useful. You probably think of all of the teachers at your school as very similar but they are all very different and they are nothing alike :) and they all have their various functions that make them useful! Keep up the good work! At least you didn't put anything about ghosts in there ;).

Hi Leslie,
I couldn’t find the comment link on your Technology’s Back post so I’m leaving a comment here.
You asked if I’ve ever used technology? Yes, I do. A computer and a connection to the Internet let me work from home to create online courses for teachers. I think that’s pretty neat!! Just think, I couldn’t be writing to you tonight (I’m about 600 miles from you) and you receive it the next morning without technology! And I couldn’t know how you found email boring in 3rd grade without technology! Most of all, I can learn so much from other people and about so many topics using technology. I learn lots from blogs; I didn’t know about the Red Panda that Mary wrote about. I wonder, are you learning from your classmates blogs too?
Best,
Lani

If you are willing to buy a house, you will have to receive the home loans. Furthermore, my mother usually uses a financial loan, which is the most useful.

What a material of un-ambiguity and preserveness of valuable experience concerning unexpected emotions.
