I think by listening to the recording it will help me because next time I write a post I know to reread my post aloud. When I started writing the story I was careless. But when I read it over I saw the mistakes and it made me realize that I really was being careless. I know that next time I will try to improve on my grammar. When the other person reads your work they will not understand what you are trying to say and that would not be good because what if it is something really really good and they don't understand it. It would make you feel good if they understood what you were trying to say. So read over your work and you might get the best comment ever. I know you would not want a 7th grader read your work and say "boy this person may need some help in writing".So I say the less mistakes the closer you are to getting your 100 in writing.
It's good to be aware of your readership - it keeps you from being sloppy!

Hi Leslie,
I think you are right on track when you say: "It would make you feel good if they understood what you were trying to say."
What parts of your writing do you think are most important in making sure you are understood?
Best,
Lani
