I think you are absolutely right when you say “having comments and making comments is special” and that is just why I am here! Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging! I’m looking forward to reading your “thinking out of the box” blog posts!
I am really interested in your thoughts that say “writing what we think” and “having the opportunity to say what we want to say”. I am trying to “read your minds” and think this is pretty important to you. Is it? Why?
Yes, I think this is very important because it will help to communacate with different electronic stuff, and it will help me to not be afraid to speak what I think.
I think it is important that you are reading our blogs because you are the first person that has wrote to us.Just like you asked me a question I have a question for you. Did you ever come to our building or are you in our building?
You've each given me such good answers! Getting to talk to people is a great way to learn so much and saying what you want helps others see how unique we all are. Thank you for commenting back.
Dear Group 3,
I am so impressed by the variety in your brainstorming ideas. You mention practical things like "using the keyboard" and extend that to expressive ideas such as "writing what [you] think." What stuck me most, however, is the comment about "having the power to write words" because that is a skill that can be very powerful. Not only does it feel good to communicate what you meant to, but you will also see how your words might affect other people.
I am excited for you to begin blogging! This is something I am just learning--and I am a college student! I look forward to reading your first postings.
Group 3-
I'm pleased you think that receiving and making comments is important, because I expect you'll be getting lots of them. It is wonderful that you are excited to interact with others. Responding to comments about your writing, and thinking about the choices you make as you write will make you better writers and thinkers. Good luck!
Hi Lani, this is Mia. I have never gone to Ohio, but I bet it is a great place since you leave there. It was so cool how you put a link so that we can see where you live.Is there a place in Ohio that is very popular?
Group three-
I really like your diagram. You have some very interesting things to say. I too like using the keyboard rather than a pencil and paper. When I write a lot by hand, I start to get muscle cramps and that is no fun. Also, when you type on a keyboard the ideas are much more likely to “flood” out of your head. Writing by hand takes a long time and I quickly forget what I’m trying to say. When I type, I can write almost as fast as I think, and that’s a great feeling. I wish I could think faster.
Group 3,
You all have some great ideas! I agree that reading someone's blog can be like reading that person's mind. It's a great chance to learn more about people's feelings and viewpoints. As bloggers, you all have the power to influence others by sharing and explaining these thoughts. Isn't that exciting? I look forward to reading your blogs!

I love the section on your graph saying "the power to write words." Words have changed history again and again, and they definitely have power. Now that so many people have the internet and can see your thoughts, it's so important to understand that it is a lot of power - and responsibility. You've done a great job on your graph. It looks like you guys are excited about writing which is great!!
As a commenter myself, I'm glad to see you place some importance on what is being said about your blog. A big part of blogging is the interaction between the writer and the audience, and I'm glad to see a group that puts that on the priority list. Blogs are a chance for you to share with others, so hopefully the comments will come often and help you learn a thing or two. Keep up the good work.
You asked if there was a place in Ohio that was very popular. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is in Cleveland. Do you think that might count? And where I live is in the snowbelt; we had over 150 inches of snow last winter. That's not popular but we're well known for it. Let's see, how many feet is that?
Yes,that count.Do people suffer when it snows? Where I live it doesn't snow that much, but when it turns to November and December, it rains and the water turn into ice.I remember last year when I took a bath in the morning my hair was wet and when I went outside to wait for the bus my hair had ice in it.Do you ever wounder why Snowbelt is called like that?
Hi Mia,
People don't usually suffer when it snows unless it snows alot all at one time. Around here, everyone plans and gets prepared for winter! Whoa, ice in your hair doesn't sound good. I'd rather have snow than ice. What a good question on why it's called the snowbelt! It's because the heavy snows fall in an area that is usually long and narrow; you can drive 20 miles east and there is no snow and you can drive 20 miles west and there is no snow; so some might say it looks a bit like a belt.

Emmy, you asked me how I knew about this weblog. I heard that there was a group of really smart 5th graders learning how to blog and I wanted to see if that was true. Your teacher was right!! Annia,
here is a link to a map that shows where I am.
