Let's have some fun introducing ourselves to our readers. You may make your introduction however you like but try to be creative. It's great to have a little joy about our writing! I'll list some questions that you may want to think about as you introduce yourself through the comments feature. Remember to start off by telling your name (first name only!)!
- What is something you would like people to know about you?
- What is something you would like to get around to doing one day? Why?
- Name two things you love to do.
- Name two things you could do without.
- What is something that you have done that you are very proud of and why?
- What is something people might be surprised to know about you?
- What is the most exciting thing you have ever learned at school?
- What would you like to share about yourself?
Remember, the questions are just suggestions to help you get started! Introduce yourself using your own ideas! The sky's the limit!
Here's mine! Maybe Miss Neville will have time to share her introduction tomorrow, too.
My name is Mrs. Davis. I love to teach and I love to blog. I think both of those things have helped me to become a better writer. I believe young children like yourselves are capable of much more than people sometimes think. I love to hear what you care about and how you learn. Learning new things is exciting. One day I hope to have time to learn more about photography. I like to take pictures, especially pictures of my grandkids. I would like to get better at this skill. I like to think of creative pictures to take. Maybe you have good ideas of pictures I could take.
I am glad I have the opportunity to meet such an awesome group of second graders. You are the best!
So, tell some interesting stories about yourselves. Be creative! I can't wait to read your introductions! See you in the morning!
P.S.- We may just post your introductions on this blog instead of the comments section. I'll check with your teacher. Hmmmmm.... You could learn all about copy and paste but I just bet some of you already know all about that!
