Hello, Lucy! Today during a meeting with Ms. Davis I asked her to show me samples of what students could do with technology. She showed me NewsQuest from J.H.House Elementary. This is exciting work that you and your schoolmates are doing. I am a teacher at Georgia State University in Atlanta. But, enough about me...
Your new introductions are very interesting to me. I like the way you used questions to "hook" the reader. The questions made me want to know more. The descriptions of your feelings about September 11 were familiar to me because I felt just the same. A riddle for you to grapple with...How do you begin a story about a lake? "Once a pond a time"
Keep up the good work!

Perla,
This is a terrific start! I like the starter sentence that asks a question. Try to remember to add punctuation like question marks and be sure to read over your work before you submit. I can't wait to see the next post!

Dane,
I love your ideas for story starters. Where did you come up your ideas? Remember to capitalize the first letter in a last name (Bush). Can't wait to find out what how you got stuck in that tree!
